I arrived ten minutes before close. I live 45 minutes away and was very excited to bring my family here. I called in advanced to make sure they were open until 10 and was told they were. When I got there the door was locked. We called and they reassured us they were open until 10 and then hung up on us. My family loves dairy queen but we were disappointed by this experience.
3rd or 4th time now I’ve pulled up around 9:15-9:30 and the staff stops cleaning, lock the doors and run in the back and hide. As soon as you get back in your car they come back out and continue cleaning and if you walk back up and knock they just look down and ignore your existence. I understand wanting to close up a little early and get everything clean but closing 30mins early, laughing in the back while your customers wait outside confused is just not right and continues to happen. Close your store at 9 so you don’t have people coming up and experiencing this.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a public place. Im writing this review after this being my 4th or 5th time walking into this dairy queen and the same green haired lady, without fail, has a horrible attitude and is being very rude to every customer. She gave horrible remarks to an old lady just asking to make sure they did not forget the rest of her order. You can also tell that the other workers become very uncomfortable when she does this. Dairy queen, please do something, this is not how you want you business to be represented. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
Went in at around 9:30 and all the girls working were so rude. the one manager normally is so I wasn’t surprised but it was even worse this time. we got our ice cream and left and they locked the door behind us at around 9:40. I can understand if this was a sit down restaurant and we came in 10 mins before close and stayed forever but we were in there for max a couple mins. for the only dairy queen in the area I think they should be a little nicer to customers.
Quite literally the RUDEST & most UNPROFESSIONAL group of individuals work here. I have never been anywhere where the people are consistently disrespectful and rude for no reason. I asked for a lid for my ice cream and the woman shushed me and told me I should have asked for it when I ordered my food. I don’t know how these people still have a job. The girl with the green hair is by far one of the rudest people that has ever been employed by this company. I would say this place needs a serious change in employees or you are going to lose a significant amount of business. Dairy Queen should be ashamed of themselves for allowing these girls to remain employed despite a substantial amount of complaints.
Went there tonight with my children and grandchildren and was appalled at the way the employees were yelling at customers across the restaurant and telling the customers to be quiet. Apparently it doesn’t matter to Dairy Queen because after reading the reviews it keeps happening over and over again with the same employees . I don’t know how you will stay in business like this! I will not be back.
We visited today at 9:00 pm. The open sign was turned off even though the posted closing time was for 10:00 pm. When I asked the girls working why the sign was off, they told me it was to trick the customers into thinking they were closed so no one would come inside.
Stopped in for a quick ice cream treat. Saw they had a new slushi drink and decided to try it out. It is really pretty looking and tastes really good. It is on the sweet side though (but I like sweet!)
The girl with the multi colored hair waited on me and my kids. I started off letting her know that my order was all to go and they would need lids which apparently made her angry and she continued to be extremely rude to us as we ordered everything we needed. If my kids weren’t with me and excited for ice cream I would’ve left. I’ve had a rough day but I was pleasant when speaking. We are there pretty much once a week. We might need to rethink that and try other ice cream places.
Went to this location and they had the worst customer service I’ve seen in Dairy Queen so far. We were sitting down eating and heard employe cursing up a storm behind the wall. Also one employee turned off the lights as we were sitting down so we decided to leave. Never coming here again ?
