The waitresses are very polite, and friendly! The food was delicious!!
I used to not like CB. My original thought process was because I could make all of the same food at home.BUTI've changed. The food, which is home-style by design, is welcoming. The atmosphere is themed and fun to feel like one is in simpler times. Our server, Brandon, last night was new but he was welcoming and really helpful which shows CB cares about their employees and trains them well.Only warning I would give:If you have young kids, be careful how you take them through the gift shop. You might be there a while ?.
family friendly and the staff is very deaf friendly as well
My review of 5 stars was based on previous experiences. My last 3 trips has been horrible. Since the pandemic the quality and quantity of food is not the same. I had to send my pancakes back because they were cold. I also ordered a side of grits an literally the grits could were two tablespoon. I ended up sending them back as well because they were also watered-down.
Can I give it a 7 star review . 2 extra stars for the people always making my family feel welcomed and just like family. The food is always so fulfilling and just the right amount of flavor; it is right every time. I havent met a waiter/ waitress here who has a bad attitude. Even when they are down you can see them wipe the negativity off they face and come at you with a smile. Much love to the staff here cant wait to see you guys for brunch this Sunday.
great food and not ridiculously busy if you go later in the day
Good service. Nate was really cool and friendly as well as Angela (?) in the country store. Scrambled eggs were underdone for my wife's liking, and turkey sausage was over. No turkey bacon here. Pancakes were alright. The service was great and everyone was friendly
I’ve come here pretty often but this time around wasn’t the best. I asked for light cheese in egg white scramble and was so much cheese barely could find enough eggs to eat. The turkey sausage was cooked hard and nothing fluffy abt the one pancake I ordered on the side. The waitress was extremely friendly so that made the experience not as bad as it could have been. However the fruit was extremely fresh and sweet and so were the tomatoes.
Cracker barrel has always been one of my favorite restaurants on vacation. However now that I live out here I don't get to eat there as often as I wish. We do not have one in South Carolina and the closest one that I do go to is in North Carolina about 40 minutes away. The food is always Good. My kids used to love playing checkers outside the restaurant and inside near the fireplace. Due to Covid they no longer have that nor do they have the game on the table with the pegs. The fireplace was burning today which the kids loved. We will definitely be back again when we're in the neighborhood.
Very disappointed with my experience at the one on Independence blvd. I placed an order over the phone and was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes. I showed up and paid for my order. Not only did I wait almost 40 minutes, but one of the items I ordered was not in the "sealed" bag. I didn't notice until I got home. I proceeded to call the location and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Amber and explained to her that I just wanted a refund for the item that was missing. With a very unpleasant tone she told me the next time I come into the restaurant I should tell my waiter that I should get a free order of pancakes. She was completely rude and did nothing to resolve the issue. Cooperate will definitely be hearing from me.
