Shanita was amazing! A lot of food for your money and great service. Will definitely be back.
I have been here 2 times now and everything is amazing! The wait staff remembered me from the first visit and asked if I wanted my usual table! They have vegetarian options, which is a plus for me to dine with my husband. Shanita was a fantastic server. I definitely recommend trying out this new restaurant in Matthews!

For starters, the ambience is fantastic. The lighting is very relaxing and there's a lot to look at on the walls. Very nice, intricate designs.The staff was very kind and helpful.To go with the chips and dip, we ordered guacamole. The guacamole was ok, nothing standout about it. Honestly, I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. The dip that came free with the chips was really good. I preferred it over the guacamole. Chips were pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant.I wish the menu had more meals on it for people who really don't know what to order. Going through the list of all the tacos is great, but some people might find it hard to narrow down what they really want. I think a few meals with different items would be nice. Also, I think it would make it feel less like a menu from a food truck. (The menu would be perfect for a food truck.)I ordered two tacos (the sunnyside up one and the one with pineapple) as well as the avocado and cheese enchilada. All items were really tasty. The enchilada had really refreshing, mild flavors, while the tacos had quite bold flavors. I really enjoyed the balance of spice on the tacos. We also got a side order of rice, which was pretty much the standard Mexican rice you can find anywhere.I personally felt that the tableside service was unnecessary. The food came out really quickly and the type of food it is made me feel like it'd work as just ordering, get a number, then grab your food. The service was good, but I really thought that it wasn't needed in my experience.Definitely recommend trying this place out. I do believe that if they have a food truck that it would be really popular.

Came to this restaurant for lunch not really expecting much, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the decor, laid back vacay music, and delicious food. We tried the avocado enchiladas, very good. I also had the tacos for lunch. They have a large variety of tacos. The salsa is fresh, smooth, and so good I could have just had that all day!
What a wonderful experience. We loved the decor and wall art. The service was some of the best we have ever had. The waiter (unfortunately can’t remember his name) was very hospitable and took great care of us. He gave us so many good recommendations. Chips and salsa were awesome. Mexican corn was delicious. Calamari taco was amazing. Burrito was yummy. The winner though was the calamari taco and Mexican corn. We will definitely be back to our new Mexican spot!
Really cool new place in Matthews. The shrimp crevice was fantastic. So many things on the menu I'd like to try.The jalapeño margarita was excellent. Definitely would recommend. Atmosphere was unique and fun. Server Michael did a great job. ?

Had a great dinner for my husband's birthday. Great street tacos. Great service from Katie! We will be back for sure. Highly recommend the street taco basket.
