LOL So many bad reviews here and they don't flinch. Their attitude stink and the cakes tasted old. I wrote into corp about how I got treated badly a couple of months back. I wasn't expecting anything from them but wanted to vent. To my surprise a very nice email got back. Someone actually listened! They agreed that the franchise should take the customers more seriously. Apologized profusely and offered another cake to me. I declined, I was not confident that another cake from that store would taste any better besides I am done dealing with them in this particular store. Nevertheless they said they had made known this issue to the store and someone will contact me and refund my money. Guess what? 3 months flew by and not a word. *crickets...* They don't give a hoot.
I just called this location to order an ice cream birthday cake. I spoke with someone named Ashley. She informed me that they are not taking orders for cakes at this time. I asked if they had any cakes already made for sale, to which she said yes. I asked her to let me know what flavors they had so I could decide whether to purchase one there. She informed me that she was too busy to check. This is just lazy and pitiful customer service. Good luck staying in business with this mindset.
I just wanted to note that the young woman at the counter was rude. Upon our arrival we were immediately yelled at told we wouldn't be served. Informing us that we unfortunately arrived after time would have been fine especially if it was done in a polite fashion. I stated to her that I believed her response was very rude but it was ignored. I called to leave a message for the manager but no answer as well as the voice mail was full. Lastly there were multiple large water bugs the door.
Really good ice cream flavors and the coffee is amazing too. So glad it’s in Matthews! A nice place to visit for a treat and there is a pond with chairs and tables just outside to relax at.
I've avoided this place because of the bad reviews but it is a very nice place to take the kids for ice cream plus it smells great from the drinking doughnut/coffee:) glad we gave it a try!

Will not return to this location for ice-cream, and perhaps for coffee either. I waited 10 minutes to have my order taken, while about 5 people for coffee and donuts were served immediately. After placing order, I assumed it would be fulfilled immediately. No! I stood for another 5 minutes while other orders were taken! Finally, I asked for a refund ... and the manager actually looked puzzled. Instead of offering an incentive or apology, he processed my return and said they couldn't do "everything." VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Will not be back.
Ordered a Oreo sundae. They gave a scoop and a half of ice cream and was out of the rest of the ingredients
Every table was dirty!! The young girl that was trying to help us just didn't know what to do!! The two other employees didn't even try to help her. No hot fudge and they didn't know what walnuts in syrup was??? I paid for my sundae and threw it away and went to Bruster's.... Very say because I remember when Baskin Robbins used to be the place to go.....
