3XXX This was the 3rd Waffle House in a row on I95 we stopped at this morning. No coffee made at 6am. Order was a mess! Left after waiting on bacon that wasn’t even on the grill yet after I received runny eggs and just warmed bread, not toast. Coffee served in styrofoam.

Stopped in here for an odd morning hour breakfast (3:30 A.M.), as I was on my way to Myrtle Beach coming from Southern Maryland. First thing I noticed as I approached the entrance was that the 3 booths off to the left hand side (nearest the restrooms) were all full of plates, cups and rubbish from previous customers. Upon entering this Waffle House the area of stools next to the counter was taped off with yellow tape. So, I sat down at the smaller counter next to that one. I noticed I was the only customer in the place and that there were 4 employees. One was cleaning the grill and I assumed the other 3 were waitresses. They were just standing there talking amongst each other. After waiting about 5 minutes, one of the waitresses came over and told me where I was sitting was for "Take Out" customers only. I said "OK", got up and moved to a booth near that counter. She then came over and told me that the booths in this area were for "Take Out" customers as well. I asked her if there was anywhere I COULD sit to have breakfast? She told me I could sit at one of the 3 booths located near the restrooms. I asked her if she meant the 3 booths that hadn't been cleaned off yet? She just gave me the "Deer in the headlights" look and said nothing. I told her to "Never mind", got up and promptly left. This whole time no other customers came in and the other 2 lady's just stood there talking with each other. I wondered how long it had been since the previous customers left and how long it would be before the 3 tables would be cleaned. I mean - what are you getting paid for there!? Very un-professional staff!
Food was great! And our waitress Hannah was amazing!
First walked in no greeting or hello just look at as if I was crazy . Had to ask if they were taken orders. The waitress was very nice but I wouldn’t advise anyone to come here especially for breakfast I had a hair in my grits. The manager didn’t know how to make a waffle and I can name of the few things on the list but don’t go here and make your own breakfast in if you can’t just don’t go here As you can see I didn’t even open it yet nor ate it soon as I open it Wala what do you know I see hair
It used to be better in my opinion. My Hash brown bowl had water in the bottom of it. plus the hash browns were not only cold but also hard. but the people who worked there seemed friendly tho.
It was very crowded so we sat at the counter. It took at least 10 min for us to even get a drink. The food was good once we got it.
Waitress was rude to an man who seemed to have issues with his speech, maybe stroke related... he was also a veteran... on top of being served coffee...I was disgusted!!
Food was ok. Took over half HR to be seated. The waitress we had was new but she was very pleasant. cooks were also
Hoping to visit again soon but just not in a snow storm. The guy's were very friendly and helpful. Thank's guys for the warm welcome and conversation.
