The food use to be fresh and hot. It is not the same had a frozen taste.
Quite thankful when we pulled into Lumberton for a quick meal we came upon this delectable restaurant. Our family has diverse taste and each meal we ordered was positively perfect. While they were quite busy on a Friday night each of the staff were thoughtful and friendly. Thank you for an excellent meal and graciously welcoming us.
Excellent eatery right off of 95. Large dining room and cantina. We sat in the cantina. Friendly staff but not pushy. Good food and fresh. Chicken Flacca salad, #10 special & two house cab sav - fair price. Plenty of TVs to catch you up on all things sports. Return ? Absolutely.

San Jose Mexican Restaurant has become one of our go-to spots when we travel through Lumberton NC…the food is always great and the service is just as good. Never a bad meal when we eat here…
The fajita meat seemed to be precooked and therefore, dry. Very mediocre food. Our server, however was very nice and attentive. Menus sticky and the building is run down.
We eat here 2 or 3 times a week. Great food and service!
everyone’s food was not seasoned at all. Nothing had any taste which is usually rare for this place. Party of 10. Definitely wished we had dined somewhere else tonight
Overpriced, terrible service, food is just okay. $16 for 4 tacos that the meat fell through the tortilla!
Upon entering the establishment, I stood at the counter for almost 15 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone working there. A few people waiting to check out formed behind me, a young lady approached and asked me to step to the side so she can check out those behind me instead of taking my togo order. Mind you I had already been waiting a while. She then walked off saying someone else would come and take my order. After waiting a few minutes long a gentleman came to take my order, instead of greeting me he simple said “what do you want” I ordered he cashed me out and immediately began talking to a girl sitting on the couch waiting never thanking me or taking my name he didn’t even tell me how long. He simply disregarded me……… This is not at all customer service.
