It’s kind of hard to a review a place that didn’t even serve you but here goes… Today (Wednesday) we walked in and eventually we were greeted by the hostess. It was not busy as it’s the middle of the week. We were seated and told our server would be right with us, we sat for a good 20 minutes and no one came. I’m pregnant, hungry and it’s my birthday. I told my husband let’s just go. Severs walked by us multiple times, checked on others and never once acknowledged us. What a disappointment. I’d give 0 stars if I could.
I wanted to enjoy a nice dinner after volunteering with classmates. We had planned for this to be about an hour long dinner, however it instead took about 3 hours since, staff kept forgetting orders and one of my classmates had not even been given their order and had been told that what they have ordered was only for senior citizens right after everyone else had finished their food. The food was great but the service is just terrible.
We got two different types of crepes. The food was great. The order was to go and I would have given the five stars except they messed up my order. It was supposed to come with a special butter or sauce I forget which but they gave me sour cream instead. Definitely a major screw up. Accidents happen and I would still go back again for takeout just for the food quality but,..,
The worst IHOP I have ever been. Served my wife cold grits. Did not have onions. Ordered the country fried steak, and instead brought me a steak omelet. Ordered coffee twice and Neverending got it. Two of the staff walking around with their pants hanging off their but and underwear showing. Yelling across the room at each other asking seating questions like they were in a fast food store. Terrible dinner. Ever going back
Service is horrible. Out of the many times that I’ve came here only once has the service been good. Yes the food is good but you can be starving and they’ll make you wait an hour to be seated when the restaurant isn’t even half full. Horrrible. Do not recommend coming here.
Don't ask for iced coffee because that is exactly what you will get, a cup of black coffee with ice in it. The grits were lacking in several areas but they were excellent compared to the service Emily provided. She has to be the rudest most unprofessional server I have ever encountered. From laying on the table to take our order to slamming hash browns on the table after my son asked about them because she didn't bring them out originally. Then she never came back to check to see if we needed anything. Even the lady sitting across from us (who was served by the manager) said she had a really bad attitude. I understand being short staffed but if this is the sort of staff you have to settle for then it must be really bad finding help.
The food was delicious as usual, but the service was beyond terrible. They called my name but no one was there to actually seat us. Then they set us and we sat there for 10 minutes and no one came to our table. The girl that sat us walked by and I asked her if we had a waitress. She looked at me so I know she heard me, and she COMPLETELY IGNORED ME! I guess she was taking too the manager behind me, u don't know but she never acknowledged that I spoke to her.Once we got our food our waitress never came back to our table. I had to flag her down for a refill on my drink. The manager stopped by once so I also asked her. I know people are short staffed, but customer service goes a long way.
This place is horrible and the staff is one of the main reasons your business here in lumberton NC will loose a lot of revenue due to this behavior cold uncooked food and not training in table edict manners there a fb post circulating with over 170 shares and growing because of an employee who was unsatisfied with a $2 tip a elderly women left her which was her last walking off making a disrespectful comment upsetting her and also her family plz fire Emily and get some better employees and do something about the food been served thank upset customer
The food was great but may have been because we were starving by the time we got to eat it. We arrived at 11:35, told it was a 15 minute wait and was seated 40 min. later. Restaurant was not even half full. Got our drinks and ordered fairly quickly. By this time our 7 yr old was starving and the baby was restless. We waited another 45 minutes for the food to be brought out and another 5 for silverware to eat with. Only then did we get drink refills. At no time did the waitress apologize for the delay, check on us for needs, etc. She did come back to see if we needed pancake refills and we received those in a timely manner. She delivered the check and took the payment. We left at 1:15....The facility was clean but restroom fixtures were in disrepair. This was not a busy restaurant, and may have been slightly short staffed, but no one seemed to be working very hard or quickly. Please do not visit if you are in any kind of hurry or have hungry children. The one star is for the food only.
Hairs, eggshells, the greasiest food I’ve ever seen, AND being put on hold for 15 minutes to speak with a manager only to be ghosted until closing time. Stopped by here for a to go order during a road trip where we stopped for the night. The food had several hairs in the hash browns and scrambled eggs, and the over medium eggs were riddled with eggshells. Needless to say, we didn’t even contemplate touching our food after the 4th hair was discovered and 3 bites of eggshell. Called to notify them about our inedible food - the woman said she would get the manager… waited on hold for 15 minutes; eventually hung up to try and call again, but they turned their phone off after one ring, and no rings after that went through. Contacting corporate because this is absurd. Going to bed hungry tonight because everything else is closed now. Definitely do not stop here if you have other options.
