The food was still hot and ready even though i walked in 20 minutes till close. The place was kept super clean from the tables to the bar and floor. But above all the service was EXCELLENT! One of the hosts, his name is Devaughn Mcmillan, was very friendly and helpful. He checked on me at my table to make sure everything was satisfactory and even insisted i let him cover the tip. He is a true gentleman and deserves recognition. I'll definitely be returning for the service alone!
I’ve ordered from the place several times as well as eating there. The food has always been outstanding and the staff is very friendly. Will continue to go to this outstanding place.
The bar was lacking in many areas including cleaning up around the bar. Brussel sprouts were gone. Turnips greens lacked seasoning and tasted like grass pulled from the yard. The dessert bar was a mess...ice cream machine had more on the floor than in the machine. Very dirty. The only dessert was bread pudding and some cookies. The guy cooking the steaks must have flipped them at least 7 times while standing there and apparently does not know how to cook steaks. The salad bar had not been attended to in a while and it showed the lack of attention in that area as well. The sweet pottoto casarole was out . COULD go on buy think you get the picture.
First time at this place and was welcomed with sweet southern hospitality! The food is much more well made and tastes cleaner than most buffets I have went to. The environment is also clean and well sanitized. 5/5 would definitely come back again!!
This place sucks, not only was the food bad but that had very little appetizing selection. The staff was rude and unhelpful and the wait on everything was very long. Our server, Emily Grace, was the only kind person in there. She was working all of the tables alone but still managed to check on us constantly and keep a smile. All in all this place isn’t very good.
Very highly upset when we got here all the tables were dirty! Then we found a clean table and when we went to sit the waitress started screaming at us that someone was sitting there mind you there were no drinks or a receipt on the table there was nothing! So we left to the complete other side had a much nicer waitress but the food was disgusting and went to eat the bourbon chicken and it was raw inside I hope I don’t get sick now! And the rest of the food was horrible I spent $53.44 to eat nothing cause it was so bad that now I have to spend more money to actually buy something edible! Never coming back her again!!!
Went in about 6pm food was touch and go most employees seemed less than happy, with the exception of Emily Grace. The food was decent or bad between bites. The ice cream machine was broken, only chocolate worked. The mangers all seemed to be having a good time just hanging out. Needs better management and more friendly faces.
My waiter was excellent. I wish I had read his name. The food was excellent also. The Fayetteville GC is not up to the Lumberton GC. When I am back in Lumberton I will be stopping at GC! The pic is what was left! Sorry I ate the rest!
The food was very good and my waitress was very nice he kept my table clean the whole while I was there his name was Glenn I think that was his name but if not please forgive me. He was the best waitress that I had since I've been going there and I've been going there for years. This young guy was new. He had very good manners
I visited Golden Corral this evening and was very disappointed. I came in for a to-go dinner and approached the buffet to find articles of other dishes on the buffet in the sweet potato casserole. I asked a server could she get a fresh side of the casserole from the back due to my health issues/concerns with the dish out front. She approached her manager and he declined due to his justification of putting the dish out "a few minutes ago." I approached the manager with my request and he suggests that "I go find another restaurant who would go to the back and get a side dish for me." I said "I beg your pardon," and proceeds to repeat himself. I asked how do I proceed to get a side dish without particles from other dishes in it? He walks over and takes a pair of tongs and picks the particles from the dish. In disbelief I gather my dish and proceed to check out only to realize I was being over charged for a side dish. They refused to revert the charge and sent me on my way. I refuse to refer this restaurant to anyone due to the way I was treated. Customer service skills were non-existent.
