They have the best southern home cooking you will find anywhere. Every plate I've tried has been very delicious I've always left satisfied.

Very nice hometown tavern with a upscale ambiance. Excellent service and delicious foods. Live music too on some nights. Definitely a place to visit when in Lexington NC.

Very good home cooked meals in a great part of town too. Nice place with lots of shops within walking distance. Definitely adding this place to my regular dining out schedule

Racist!! I will never come here again and I'll make sure to let my community know as well, They sit you first if your skin is lighter. The whole waitress staff is rude and disrespectful. Don't show up with a party of more than 6 people on a Sunday because they will have a hard time accommodating you, Specially if you're black. After being told initially we had a 30 minutes wait, it turned into little over an over, waitress assured us that our table would be ready shortly pointed at the assigned table and said they need to clean it first, then proceeds to sit another family that I’m sure wasn’t here prior to us. They all looked confused and realizing they made a mistake, they all ran to the kitchen and didn’t bother to apologize or give an explanation. Poor customer service.

I was in town for the Elvis Festival and happened upon the Village Grill. I was so impressed when I walked in. The entire restaurant had been decorated in Elvis. I could tell that they had embraced the Elvis Festival coming to Lexington, NC. Service was good. Cheeseburger and fries I got were delicious.

We arrived on a busy Thursday night and expected to wait a little bit. Two couples ahead of us. One couple left after waiting and the next couple was seated a short time later. We were then next in line. A young couple came in with a small child and the hostess told them they had a table available for them since they had three and they could seat them at a larger table since they had more than two people. We didn’t think much about it and let them go ahead since they had a small child. We then waited a few minutes more and another party of four came in and we’re immediately seated. The party of four even tried to do the right thing and let us go since they knew we were there first. The hostess said no they couldn’t seat two people at a large table but could seat four people there. We walked out and will never go back. Idiotic staff ruined one of our well liked places in Lexington. Luckily there are plenty of other places to go in town that know how to treat customers. Don’t waste your time or money there.

Excellent food and it was all fresh. Good southern cooking. We will definitely be back!

The food is always delicious.....just as you ordered it! Service is great, and prices match the service!!

This is such a nice place! All of the staff was super friendly and the food was fresh & delicious. There’s so much variety to choose from. The fried pickle spears are the best I’ve ever had! Definitely recommend them and the Buffalo shrimp. Will be back for more weekend lunch dates!

Great local place. Seemed busy for a weekday night. Food was delicious. The club sandwich was great and fresh. Prices not to bad on the wallet. Very reasonable.
