I just LOVE this location! It's set back off the main road across from the Tractor Supply shopping center. Plenty of parking and signature front porch filled with rocking chairs.Inside you're met with a staff that is smiling and ready to provide great customer service.Food was amazing and the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from Cracker Barrel.Clean bathrooms.
Restaurant was clean, one star alone for that.Service was extremely slow for a Wednesday night. Was told a 20-35 minute wait, wait was 40 minutes. No big deal really, except then it took an hour from ordering to get our food.We were celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday, and she really wanted pancakes and grits. They kindly subbed grits for eggs in the pancake platter, which is for the second star. The rest of the food was just slow, due to only having one cook. I would have liked if they had informed us that it could be an hour wait with only a few tables sat. Also, if kids are present, and it takes an hour for food, and biscuits normally come with the meal for them- perhaps offer to bring a biscuit out for them ahead of the meal- especially since all the table-top games have been removed that would normally help with long wait times.Service was subpar. Had to ask for basics constantly- such as a drink refill in obviously empty glasses, ketchup for fries, jelly and butter for biscuits even though the menu says it's part of "all the fixings". And then we were brought only 2 jelly packets for 6 biscuits. A decent server would have handled the entire service differently. Two stars, a bad birthday meal, and a promise we probably won't waste the money coming back. The food, when it finally comes, was overall good. Such a shame the service sinks this place.
Cracker Barrel in Lexington, was a little slow but the food was excellent. Biscuits were warm and fluffy. The drinks were crisp. Very good!
This was my first visit to Cracker Barrel, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. My date had been many times and it’s one of his favorite places for a comforting, casual meal. I wasn’t disappointed! Everything was really good, I got the country boy breakfast with sirloin steak and it was cooked perfectly. Every bite was delicious. The hashbrown casserole was so good, too! I think it was my second favorite on my plate. I sipped on an orange mimosa and it wasn’t lacking anything. The service was lovely, everyone working was very friendly and that’s always great to experience. Our server was attentive and made our visit especially pleasant. My date and I are looking forward to coming back!
I love that Cracker Barrel has such delicious food & they also serve breakfast all day I’ve never had anything but delicious food as well as excellent service I always ask to sit in Cheyenne’s section as she’s the greatest server I’ve had in Lexington so far she’s always smiling, friendly & makes sure Our drinks stay full at all times
If you have been to one Cracker Barrel you have been to them all. Good basic food, consistent and filling. Like their breakfasts most. This particular visit the service was somewhat lacking and they were not that busy.
After we were seated we waited about 15 minutes before someone came and took our order. The girl was nice, apologized for the wait and said she would speak to our server. After she took our order we waited for our food for about 30 minutes. Needless to say my meatloaf, mashed potatoes and pintos were not even Luke warm. The plate was warmer than the food!! My husband's food was burnt and cold!! So disappointed in CB. Your standards are not what they use to be!! The meatloaf ain't as good as it use to be and now your serving alcohol!! Seriously I'm so fed up with businesses lowering their standards!! Not cool!!
I pick up food for my family sometimes on my way home from work. I always call ahead and they tell me 20-30 minutes, but I get there and it usually takes another 20-30 minutes to actually get my food. The service must be better for dine-in because they are always packed. The food is usually good though.
We have always loved going go this location but after what happened last time, I'm never going back. When we our food served, the lady spilled syrup all over the table in front of me and all over my daughters plate. She didn't apologized and just walked away. Cracker barrel was our favorite to go to as a family but after this experience and hearing what happened on the news to a man with chemicals in his water, we will never come back.
This is ridiculous. Can eat this hashbrown casserole in 2 bites. $10 for what? Wilmington location always gives large portions. You ppl are stingy.
