Wednesday July 27, around 7pm, female cashier JJ (John) had the WORST attitude ever. Got my order outrageously wrong and then got an attitude when I *nicely* told her the correct order. Then the burgers were not done when we got home. I will not be coming back to this location, when I want Cook Out I’ll go to Tville or Salisbury.

I took two stars away because cookout is known for their shakes and I’ve ordered shakes three times this week and every single time the shake isn’t blended. My cookies remain all at the bottom. Other than this, the food is hot and delicious!

We've been to this establishment plenty before but this time, the drive thru guy couldn't get our order straight for NOTHING. Then he gave wrong change back and then he gave someone elses order and we gave it back after checking it. FINALLY got ours. Would've been a great visit had there been a cashier who could do their job correctly

They were extremely busy. Our food was piping hot and really good. My banana fudge milk shake was heavenly!! The girl at the drive-thru was nice. Couldn't ask for more!

Every time we go there, something is left off our order. For the prices they charge you would think they would be more on top of it. Even when you ask them to repeat your order back to you and they repeat it correctly, something is missing. Most often it's cheddar bites that get left off despite being paid for on the order. Very disappointing. We were happy to get a cookout and the service went downhill so quick.

These people must only half listen to what you say. I just come through and order Two Big Double Cheeseburgers w/ Mustard, Chili, and Slaw. The girl taking my order must either be too distracted or too unmotivated to pay attention. You really have to make sure what hear them say back to you is what you ordered. This has to be the worst place to get in and out of too. Only in Lexington would they implement a dual drive through lane restaurant in the most backassed way possible. The engineer responsible for this building must've been too busy diddling his pen to really think it through.

Wish I could give them more stars but wound up with terrible food poisoning from here. Since I was not the only one in my group to get sick from here and i hurped the burger all night and into the next mor ing it was not hard to figure it out. Once I tasted the hamburger I should have known, but every cook out tastes different so I did not think it would lead to this. Won't go back to this location.

Of all the Cook Out restaurants I've visited, this is actually the absolute worst. The customer service was unprofessional, the wait time was too long considering there was only one other car in line, the order received was incorrect, and the food was unlike my previous experiences at other locations. It was my first and last stop at the Lexington store at exit 91 on NC I-85, there are too many options nearby that give a much better overall experience!

Lexington Cookout is the worst. Every now and then I have some blurp with the other locations. But not like this. Customer service is awful. Order is incorrect 100% of the time and they don’t even seem to care. All the other locations have lines around the building but this one is always empty. Now I know why.

I usually have no issues out of cookout but here lately it’s been pretty bad. They are always out of things. Well tonight I went and got a side of sour cream with my quesadillas and they gave it to me in a milkshake cup but I didn’t mind. I was eating and found a fly in the bottom of my sour cream. I was entirely disgusted and couldn’t finish my meal. I understand every place is struggling right now bc I’m a manager and work with the public but this is ridiculous for a food place.
