My husband got the fish and chips. Its supposed to come with slaw. My husband had to ask for his slaw and the waitress seemed put out because of that. His fries were cold and when he told her that, she asked if he wanted a new order to go. Ummm hello, hes eating his dinner now. I had the chicken nachos and the cheese was hard and gross. The few bits of chicken that were on it, were so dry that I cut the roof of my mouth with them. It was more like chicken jerky. And the service was horrible! Instead of addressing the issues, she sat at the bar chatting with the bartender. The only time that she was nice or chatty was when we were leaving. Definitely won't be going back.
Went on a Saturday at 11:45 on April 9th cars in the parking lot but doors were locked. Went back to my car and waited till after 12 thinking maybe they had changed the hours. Checked web site saw 11am as their opening time. Watched 5 different people go to the door and experience the same with the door still locked. Tried again to get in after 12 Door still locked not sure what the new hours are but I can see why they experience a downfall of business if they fail to post their new hours. Or even make a handmade sign for door. Would have been a really good business day for the company with the new store opening up in the mall where they're located.
Service was pretty slow.. You can tell they are definitely under-staffed but food was wonderful! I always get chicken tenders tossed in honey barbecue and dip them in ranch. I also get honey mustard for my frys, as they used to have the best in my opinion but noticed it’s been different the past few times we’ve ate here and not nearly as good. Still had a great lunch.
One of the worst dinners I’ve ate here, which says a lot. We eat here all the time. My Baby back ribs were very dry, my wife’s chicken was also dry! If we pay $37 for something, we expect it to be good food, not throw it in the garbage.
This was the first time time I have ate at Applebee's in about 4 years. After the experience I had tonight I won't be back ever again. We were seated right away, but it took 10 minutes for our server Sarena Z to greet us. I have worked in the food service industry and I could understand if they were busy, but the place was dead. Sarena asked us what we wanted to drink, then was trying to run away from the table rather than asking us if we were ready to order. We honestly asked the hostess if she could wait on us because she was polite and had a good personality. Everytime the waitress would come by our table she would just throw the items on the table and walk away. Terrible customer service try to avoid this restaurant at a cost.
This Applebees is terrible. From the messed up to-go orders, to waiting over 40 minutes and still not having your appetizer (in an empty restaurant) it’s incredibly clear that they could not care less about their customers. Oh and let’s not forget about the bar staff laughing and conversing about female genitalia….. this place is nasty, the people are nasty… and I’m kind of glad I didn’t get my food after the experience here. Margaritas were on point though.
The last time my wife and I visited wasn't so great think they were training a new cook we have never had a problem before and I might add that we are regular customers the Manger came out and apologized and took care of the check I would still recommend them
Horrible...HORRIBLE...disgusting bowl of pasta...service was good....the cook should be FIRED! Not the older staff but the younger staff swearing behind the bar area....I will not go to any applebees anymore...other restaurants Iam sure are better....make a better choice... Its a shame...NOT a family neighborhood bar
I haven't been to an Applebee's in years but glad we made the visit. I can recommend the wonton taco appetizer. Very tasty! Great drink specials. And hubby liked the baby back ribs. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our server does need some guidance on presenting a more professional image. I've been in the industry for a larger portion of my life and her manger of presenting herself made me cringe. ? She had her arms stuck througha hoodie.... Only her arms.... The rest was balled up on her tummy like a papoose. She walked around like that as she came back and forth to our table. When she took our food order, she did so from the table across the aisle.... Sitting down! ? It felt very strange. But again, the good was good and other than the awkward aloofness of our server.... The service was good.
This place is feeling the worker shortage which only reflects on the company. The service was great. They were really helpful, and it was quiet when we went through here. It was a nice peaceful place to eat after traveling a lot through the holidays.
