Ok so, I live here in Kernersville and just got back from out of town. It was 9 pm and we decided to stop at this KFC to get a bite. Pulled up to order, sit there for more than 5-8 minutes no one greeted me! Sit there even more saying hello hello and nothing! Pulled around to the front to see if anyone was in there, and they were standing around talking among themselves ignoring anybody that came through the drive-through! I’m guessing they just want to get paid for not taking care of the customers! Now I see why Bojangles is so busy all the time! KFC just doesn’t care about the customers anymore! If this KFC doesn’t serve customers then why have it open?
Ordered extra crispy chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. Got home there was nothing crispy about the chicken at all, was rather soggy. Potatoes were one drop of water away from soup so when you added the gravy you got soup.
It's a HIT OR MISS with this place. But mostly MISS. I received my order and when I took the first but into my tenders I immediately began to struggle. The chicken was so old and dry it fought me back. It was nowhere near closing so they should have just cooked fresh chicken. The managers and entire crew should be fired for serving day old chicken. I ended up having to throw it away it was so Nasty. Why would you even torture someone like this?
We had an eight piece meal which included mashed potatoes, biscuits, and Coleslaw. We were nervous about about ordering due to many bad reviews but our fears were unfounded. The chicken was crisp, juicy and tender. The mashed potatoes were a little to loose or we would have given them a five.
Someone in upper management (i.e. corporate) needs to help this store. No butter for the biscuit? No grape jelly? Really? Come on! Servicing drive thru before anyone in the dining room. Drive thru gave our legs away for an order after ours was taken. Had to get a substitute. Staff should be up and running by 4:30 and prepared for after work rush. Chicken was still cooking when the rush came through. Just very sad! So, when I think KFC, it is not this location.
I ordered the new beyond chicken and it was not prepared properly. It took a long time to make and came out cold and hard to chew. I’ve already had the beyond chicken at other locations and it was delicious. The owner of this location needs to make some changes and prepare the food correctly.
They didn't have any chicken breast cooked. Had to wait 26 minutes for my order. When I ordered he said they didn't have chicken breast at the time. Never offered to cook any. I had to ask if they could cook 2 chicken breast Acted like they didn't want to. Had no fries cooked. Didn't ask if I wanted original or Chrispy. I could understand if it was close to closing but this was 8 o'clock at night.
My first and last time at this KFC. When we pulled up to the menu, we were not greeted and it went downhill from there. I've owned 2 franchises and I can tell you for a fact that I'd have fired that girl on the spot if that were my business. I understand now why the building was empty when we pulled up. People like that kill businesses. I'd give it 0 stars if possible.
Just left the drive through window at the KFC in Kernersville, NC. It was 8:33 when we went through and we were told that they had no wings for a wings meal, so we tried to order chicken tenders - but were also told they had no tenders cooked. When we asked how long it would take to cook them, female told us “they are cleaning the fryers.” So we ask if we could buy just 2 sides - Mac & Cheese and Cole Slaw. She sighed heavily and replied come around…. Not only were we not able to purchase what we wanted, we were not able to even wait for what we wanted to be cooked because they were cleaning the fryers an hour and a half before closing with no offer of anything they might have had already cooked. Poor attitude from server. Poor customer service.
This place is on point. The current employees were great. We stopped going here for quite some time bc of the rude employees. But NOW wow...keep up the great job ladies and gents.
