Came for breakfast was rather busy and was told 10 minute wait. Was seated in about 15 minutes. Waitress was very friendly. Food took awhile to come out and some items were cold. We were in a rush so just ate and went. Food portions are generous and food was good overall. Would go again but likely when we aren’t in a rush.
first time today. had eggs over medium, corned beef hash and hash browns. eggs were cooked perfectly. great breakfast and the price was on point. service was fast and friendly.
What an awesome experience! Stopped here enroute to the Airport at the suggestion of a great Friend. I was pleasantly surprised with an Old Fashioned Breakfast complete with Home made Biscuits and the Crispiest Turkey Bacon I've ever eaten! Amazingly Good! The Food, Staff, Atmosphere was all Outstanding! I even bought a T Shirt! I'll definitely be back!!! KUDOS to ROUTE 66 ❤️
We ordered breakfast and it was more than we could eat. Hubby had the Route 66 breakfast. He was unable to eat the Belgian Waffle because the rest of the food filled his plate. I had the Mom’s breakfast with ham. The hash browns were very good. Only complaint was my scrambled eggs were a bit runny but I forgot to ask for them to be cooked dry! Our waitress, Caroline, was very attentive. We will return when we come back that way for doctor’s appointments at Baptist Hospital!
The food was delicious. I got the white fish plate (melt in your mouth) and my other half got the spaghetti. OMG tasty. Will be back next time I'm in town.
Great breakfast all day and the sweet potato cake was absolutely delicious.
Kernersville 66 Diner is located right at the intersection of Hwy 66 and Salem Parkway (aka Old Business I-40). It is a typical diner set up with counter seating, fresh cakes by the slice and plenty of booth seating.Our group had dinner items, even though breakfast is served all day. The food was fresh and well-cooked. The service was excellent and friendly. The restaurant is clean and appears well-maintained. Plenty of parking in the back.
Service is atrocious!!! Don't give me this under staffed BS. Waitress took order did not see her again , food runner delivered food . Had to ask him for my cup of coffee that I ordered with the guy who sat me. Food was fresh and hot, but needed another glass of water and would have like another cup of coffee.
Visiting here in NC & we love diners! This was by far one of the best home town diners we’ve experienced?? great welcoming atmosphere & our waitress Michelle from Pensacola was amazing & very sweet! Food was gas asff & servings of plates was plenty! Very pleased, will definitely be recommending!! Thank you!
