Great food ,great vibe and excellent service... Shrimp and grits were Fantastic.. And the tyramisu was phenomenal

The food is very good. The service is very good. But be prepared to be treated as a second-class citizen when friends of the owner get treated preferentially on a very regular basis. Doesn’t matter what sports event you’re watching-it’ll be changed without regard for you if one of these people requests a different event. The staff just hand over the remotes. The friends get served immediately If you don’t mind this, all means go.

Ever had a place that you have driven by many times saying "one day I want to eat there". Well I finally did and WOW was I missing OUT! My meatloaf with a kick was the most unique and BEST I ever had. My wife's chicken pie also unique and one of the best she's ever had. So if like me you wondered?. You won't be sorry you went. Friendly service as well.

First, our waitress was excellent, and most of the food was good. The ribeye was sad. For $32 I expect more than a choice cut steak that's not cooked evenly that's only seasoned on ONE side. They also season it after it was cooked, and poorly. Some bites had giant clumps of what tasted like standard Montreal steak seasoning, others were bland and tasteless. Do you know you're supposed to salt, pepper, and season BEFORE cooking? And the proven test of care is whether or not the sides are also seasoned, but considering not even both sides had any that's far too much to ask.

I introduced my Sister Pea and her hubs to JP’s today for lunch. Everything we ordered was fantastic and our server, Grace was awesome. I’ve always had good service here but Grace’s level of customer service seemed like she’d had formal training, she was that good. I hope they recognize her abilities and have her head up the training program. Now, on to the food. I got the fried pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and heavenly white gravy on both and the mac and cheese. The two pieces of pork were fork tender and the crispy breading was well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were killer and the mac and cheese was nice and gooey, not baked dry. My sister got the two grilled chicken breasts that were topped with spinach and goat cheese. Her sides were fried okra and roasted brussel sprouts. She said everything was very good. My Bubba Bean ordered the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and get this, he asked to change the brown gravy to white gravy! What a plot twist!! He let me have a bite and it was phenomenal! The two pieces of meatloaf were actually grilled and the white gravy didn’t just push it over the top, it LAUNCHED it. I will be ordering that when I go back. He also got a very fresh fruit cup. We all had To Go boxes and told Grace we were too full for dessert. Then she started telling us that another waitperson comes in before her shift and makes all the desserts and they were all great. Here’s what I can remember: cheesecake, chocolate chess pie, skillet brownie with ice cream (ordered it) and lemon crème brûlée (ordered it). BB took half of his brownie home and SP and I shared the brûlée. It had just enough lemon to feel it in your jaw and be refreshing but it was still sweet enough that it was thoroughly enjoyable. What a great experience! Please note their road side marquee had the note Closed Mondays and that was backed up with a sign on the door.

Love this restaurant and the atmosphere. Food is always delicious and there are traditional and unique offerings on the menu!

No manager on site.No alcohol in my drink, And they did not fix it.No mix for the the drink. My crab cakes were burnt to a crisp. No to go boxes. And only cost me $ 33.00. Not to worry, you were my favorite place, before today.I will not be back.

J Peppers… More like J Delicious! (Sorry that was so lame) But this food was so well made. Mouthwateringly good. I got the Iced Tea & Lemon Fried Chicken which there is no need to be wary that it’ll taste like Tea because it just tastes like magic. Sweet Potato Fries we’re a great side with it and I got the Cheesy Grits. YUM! 10/10 would recommend! Also pictured: Shrimp & Grits, Goat Cheese Salad

We came here for dinner and we had Addie as our waitress and she was FANTASTIC, we loved her. She knew her drinks, and her wine and knew exactly what to give us and what we would enjoy. 10/10 would recommend and would 100% come back here and request her everytime. The food was also fantastic as well as the drinks. Loved the place. Thanks Addie for making our experience exceptional!!!

Place was not busy at all during lunch. Hostess said it would be a 20 min wait. Once seated the waitress took our drink order and it took 15 min to get a iced tea and a beer. 10 min later she asked if we would like to order. I had the club sandwich and my friend had a Quesadia. The food came out quickly. My sandwich the bread was hard as a rock and needed mayo. We had to ask several times to get refills on tea and water. The waitress brought our check and never came back. We finally decided to leave without refills and had to go to the bar to ask for someone to ring us up. Very disappointing because this was a good place when it first opened. The chef I think his name was John did a fantastic job and the food was always great.
