Dined in twice wasn't that great food or service, tried to order take out online and by phone they said they could not due to staffing issues???? Most restaurants excel with take out because of that problem. Called for a fourth try and no answer showing they are closed. Just Please close completely and let someone come in and utilize a great spacious place. There are not enough places in Kernersville for fine dining.
First - we had a reservation for the private room and they didn’t have it written down even though my dad called twice to confirm. They were able to seat us with minimal people around. The rolls and appetizers are the reason this got 3 stars instead of 1. They were amazing. I would return just for the rolls, mozzarella sticks and ranch fries. It took us an hour to get our food and then all our chicken dishes were over cooked and the portions were way too big. The marsala sauce had a weird taste to it. The dishes were also really bland. My family probably won’t come back.
This place is exceptionally awesome! Their menu items are definitely authentic Italian and not just "American Italian" food. Not saying that that's bad but when you want real Italian food this is the place to go. The bread rolls that they serve for free before your meal are the best rolls I've ever had in my life. Considering I never eat any free bread rolls at any restaurants because I'm not a fan of that. But here, they are amazing. Better than the red lobsters biscuits they serve, which is the only other place I eat bread that they serve at a restaurant before you get your meal. I ordered the sea scallop risotto which has lump crab meat as well, superb! The second time I went I had veal marsala served with angel hair pasta which was excellent as well! I will definitely be back and I will take photos next time before I chow down. I didn't take photos this time. Usually I do take photos but I was so excited and ready to eat the food because it is so good that I forgot to! If I could rate this restaurant six stars I would! I already know what I'm going to get next time, the "spaghetti carbonara" it contains sauteed ham and pancetta tossed in spaghetti and carbonara sauce. Sounds amazing! Can't wait to go back! Service is great as well! Haven't had any issues in the two times that Ive went. Pricing for the food is where it should be at but is not low range but also is not high range it's right in the middle. Expect to spend $50 for two people if not a little more or a little less depending if you get an appetizer and anything to drink other than water.
We just ordered food from here via Uber eats. My husband ordered the chicken parm with a salad and I ordered the fruitti de mare with soup. Both were dry and flavorless. The soup was extremely salty. The seafood in mine was clearly not fresh as the mussels and clams were not even cooked to the point where they opened up. The mussels tasted like they were going bad. For $22.00 per entree, this is just unacceptable. We both agreed that homemade pasta with a jar of Rao's sauce (@ $9.99) tastes better than this. We hate wasting food and had to toss the rest of our food out because our stomachs already don't feel good from eating this meal. Sorely disappointed.EDIT - Response to the owner: Are you implying you use better and fresher ingredients for the people who "EAT IN THE" restaurant versus those who take out? Take responsibility for your food's quality instead of blaming the people who gave you business. Take out is still giving you business especially now during Covid times. Instead of giving your customers excuses, you should work on improving the quality of the food.
Ordered the Bruschetta pizza and mozzarella salad. Food was fantastic! I used to eat here quite a bit and was very happy, then it seemed the food took a downturn. Glad to see things are back on track.
It has started off with the waitress not listening to our order and having to repeat it a few times. Asked for water to drink and it smelled (not good). The grilled fish look blackened (burned and dry). The pasta was very bland in flavor. I had to re-ask for sausage for my pasta and got it cut up and burned. This was my first time here and was excited for Italian food.
Food was excellent! Loved the Calamari! Dean Martin pizza was soo good. Will be back because the service and the food were worth it!
Went for a late evening dinner on Saturday this past weekend. Absolutely disappointing! Food was awful! It was cold, overpriced, and tasteless. The alfredo resembled a watery spaghetti. Pesto vegetables was literally a plate full of olive oil and I had to dig for the vegetables. The waitress kept rushing us to finish. I was trying to get a dessert to go, she said the kitchen was closed. She did not even try to go back to the kitchen and ask. The ceasar salad was more like a house salad baptized in ranch dressing. I have been a customer for years but do not think I will go back.
Best meal we’ve had in awhile! Came for our twelfth anniversary. Amazing sauces & pasta dishes. The Cajun shrimp pasta & chicken Sinatra was amazing as well as garlic rolls & fresh salads. Great cocktails ?
I really enjoyed my meal and experience here. Our waitress cared that we enjoyed ourselves and the pizza I had was amazing!
