Edit: So I am not the only person with the same issue with delivery issuesThey hardly ever get your order right anymore (at least every time I done a delivery order). I give a “break” before I try to order from them again thinking, ‘maybe they will get it right, maybe there’s new staffed.’ I guess it’s because I used to love Denny’s back in College but honestly, I won’t be ordering here again. I don’t need to constantly worried if I will get what I paid for or if it will be a mystery. I get they may be stress but reading is fundamental to everything in life. It shouldn’t be that hard to get it right. Don’t do delivery here, your better off ordering from another place that’s nearby.
One of the most consistent places in terms of flavor. Service slow but to be expected. Love coming here.
understaffed but those who are there are sweet! food and service was still good as always I highly suggest take out to make things easier on them through these times :)
Stopped by for a quick meal and was really disappointed. It looked like they were short of help. Waited to be seated for a while then just left. There were at least 10 or 15 plates on the pass that had been there the whole time I was waiting to be seated. Maybe it was just a bad day.
I visited this Dennys which is located off the busy South Main Street in Kernersville. It was fairly empty when I arrived around 8:45 a.m but once the clock hit 9.....patrons started pouring in. I know for sure this is one of the places which is suffering from shortage of staff cause it took forever for our food to be delivered. But our waitress was phenomenal carrying a smile on her face all the time. As soon as you walk in, someone will seat you at your table and a host will take your order.I ordered a skillet and some eggs with bacon. Unfortunately all the food came pretty lukewarm and I really didn't enjoy it. The ambience is pretty good and there is plenty of parking available. If the parking gets full, you can park in the next store as this building is located closely together with other businesses and all parking lots are connected to each other.
We were traveling and stopped for lunch. They, like everyone else, where having staffing issues. They were only seating in half of the restaurant but they served quickly and always seemed to have an open table as people came into eat. I had a ham and cheese omelet and it was light and fluffy- delicious ?
People were super nice, the food was not as expected, but I usually get breakfast. The broccoli was spot on, which is usually not the case anywhere, but the chicken fried chicken was a thick, super crunchy, salty and slightly overdone. Not bad. But just not 5 stars....the wait staff was really understaffed but was flexing the muscle to serve with a smile. Never been disappointed with breakfast.
Always been a fan of Denny's. Visited on Christmas Day this time. Our food was great, portion and quality wise. Service was also great considering the staff was overwhelmed, short handed, and out of dishes. Our server was pleasant and accommodating with a smile, food was all good, lack of staff caused them to close early. God bless them for their efforts and sacrifice. Real troopers and, again, overwhelmed! There was an irate customer that attempted to throw a chair at staff, adult temper tantrum, and not one engaged in confrontational exchange. They definitely rose above the nature we humans were put here to rise above.God bless the peacemakers.
They had a nice breakfast, grand slam for my husband, as a Veteran. We didn't have to wait a long time, considering it was a holiday event. Food was hot, waitress kept checking, brought coffee several times. We were well pleased with service and food.
Went with my husband for Veterans Day. He got a free meal. I got the Grand Slam breakfast. Both very good. Employees very nice to Veterans and went above and beyond to make sure every customer was happy and well fed. Top notch employees here at Denny's. Thank you for making it a nice day for Veterans!
