With no app, coupons or specials, Inflation has definitely influenced how I view the value Cook Out Offers. The $1 menu is now a $2 menu... The price has gotten bigger and (not all, but) some of the food appears to be getting smaller. I will always love Cookout. Fast, excellent Deliciousness continues to be their MO but there are more economical options out there.
I went to cook out here a month ago and got milkshakes, was a good experience so I decided to come back to this location again for the second time and my experience was horrible. Not only was my order wrong but the person taking our order was rushing trying to end our order before we finish as well. Food was not good at all. I ordered a chili cheese hot dog and got a hot dog with chilli and I order a large chili cheese fries with extra chili and cheese and hardly any cheese and chili, and the chili cheese fries was really salty. Think I will stick to the locations I know instead of coming here anymore. Definitely will not be back for anymore food
I have been here in the past for the milkshakes and had a great experience. However, tonight the cashier (Ruth) was extremely rude and did not get my order correct. I ordered a burger and onion rings along with a caramel fudge milkshake. I did not get my side of chili with the burger and they had my milkshake ready before I got to the drive thru (usually they are mixed to order). It was a plain chocolate milkshake with no fudge or caramel in it.
I just went to the cookout in Kernersville. Service was excellent. Line was fast, however when you live on the other side of Kernersville on Kerner road please make sure you check you bags. I ordered two ? all the way!Look at what I got. 25 dollars and I am hungry. Come on! Put a little more slaw than this. High school kids don't care. People look at your ? or you gone be mad. They at like they making it the slaw. Don't count my cabbage ?!
I agree with Laura. I just ordered a double cheeseburger, drove home and was so disappointed that I took it back. I was met with attitude by two employees because I walked in to the dining area to return my food which I have never done before but should have many times over. The door was unlocked and it was 8pm, give me a break. I explained to a manager, young white male, which I can say as I am also a white male, so no racism here. He gave me my money back and when I explained to him they would not be in business long if they keep serving burgers like the one I got, he looked around and smugly said, “As long as I keep getting a paycheck “. Really! Well, his paycheck days will be jumping from job to job with that kind of attitude. If I had any stake in Cookout, I would be appalled to hear that someone representing my name would say such a thing. Shocking and sad!
Get current, open your dining room! Since it was closed, I ate at the picnic table outside and watched their employee shift change. What a joke. Watched 2 employees pull in and park in the handicapped spaces and as they exited their vehicles I almost got high myself just from the 2nd hand coming out of their car. Not to mention the vulgar language I listened to as the employees attempted to communicate with each other. I’m terrified for the future of this country.
I love Cook Out! Their Milkshakes are always delicious and definitely the best fries around, just gotta make sure they put enough seasoning sometimes it's barely able to taste. Cook out is definitely the go to for me when I'm hungry for fries and a sandwich.
Usually Cookout is on point, but tonight my wife order a grilled chicken sandwich and it was cold. First time it ever happened. They gave us 2 drinks and we had to ask for straws and they said they were out of straws. It would have been nice when they gave us the drinks to say we are out of straws. I am sure because of sippy chain issues they were out or maybe not.
Thank you Corporate for your response. They fixed my issue and I will never forget it. I am back on the Cook Out team again!
These people are amazing , doesn't matter what you order they almost always get it right !Extra mayo, light on onions, add tomato, etcGreat customer service courteous, friendly, etcexcept the person at the drive thru. window. He had a personality like a mud carp. (bottom of the pond ) did not say hi, thank you, just handed my food & change & shut the window .
