Our go to late at night Waffle House! I heard that staff late at night at Waffle House were not nice but that was just a rumor. At this location, we were greeted by friendly and an amazing staff! We enjoy coming at this location. I also love how this place is open 24 hrs, a must go to breakfast place if you are visiting here in Jacksonville, NC. The prices are also very affordable.
Had not been there in many years. Tried grits,egg,cheese sausage bowl. Good taste, good portions all freshly cooked. Real eggs! No flies!!! More food than Dennys for less price.
Server was wonderful. Very attentive. we were at around 2200.
Even though the food was OK (eggs were cold) the staff looked irritated while working and making a lot of noise. Tossing plates and silverware into the sink and clashing them around while customers tried to enjoy a meal. Very unhappy with this visit.
It was ok. First time in a Waffle House establishment. Not too many selections of food. Although the service was fast and friendly and your coffee cup was always refilled at half a cup.
Ordered 2 of the 2 Egg breakfast meals. The Eggs were perfect! The Hashbrowns to be made cooked a bit longer however they were made to a crisp! Over done. The side of sausage was amazing! The grits were a bit watery. The cinnamon raisin toast was way over cooked. The bacon had to be sent back 3 times. The server that served us even asked when she served our food… Is the bacon cooked too much. Of course! If my eyes don’t like the presentation I know I won’t eat it.. presentation is everything to me. The server was such a sweetheart though. First time ever having a bad experience at this location!
The store was very clean, the food was very good, and the staff were friendly. The only complaint I have is the volume this one girl used to place her orders. She was obnoxiously loud. My wife said it was because she needed to be heard, yet none of the other servers were that loud. She kept the store from getting a 5 star rating.
This Was My First Time At A Waffle House..I Had I Think It Was Called The Grits Bowl..It Was Really Good..The Ladies Were Friendly And Did A Good Job..They Had Music Playing And One Of The Ladies Was Singing..To Me That Meant She Was Happy To Be There..:-) I Would Go Back..
Amazing food and easily the best service in town. I come here weekly with my family, often times even more. This diner is an absolute treasure to go to and the staff give it so much more. I will be going here for many more years to come. 5/5 stars for great food, service and for being a top notch family style restaurant!
Waitress was so nice! I knew she was knew because she didn't know how to do something on the register. But, had I not heard that, I never would've known she was new. She was so efficient and kind! The food is always waffle house good?
