I stopped here today on a trip to Raleigh and grabbed a caramel cold brew late afternoon. The coffee was so good! Great atmosphere and such a surprise on my road trip. Will be by again esp at their new EI location.

Even though I despise the location and parking lot, this coffee shop is SO CUTE. They offer coffee that may give you jitters if you're not careful...but the star of the show is their liege waffle - get two, I'm not kidding.They also boast a small picturesque patio with lush greenery that is perfect for an early morning coffee with company.Also, they offer their space for local businesses to showcase their items for sale!( PS. They have plants for sale.)
I came to Milk Road Coffee for a midday snack and pick me up. Definitely wasn’t disappointed. I got an iced coffee and what they call a liége, or in other words a yummy, sweet and thick waffle type creation. A little bit pricey but not to worry because the quality and experience is well worth it. The atmosphere is so beautiful and cozy. The girls in there were nice, polite and helpful. Also have a rewards system to get points each time you visit. Definitely coming back!
Lovely looking place and website, but once inside the experience falls apart. These nice folks do not know how to prepare good coffee, and their workflow is not well organized. The wait is crazy long, the prices too high - $5 for 16oz latte? And oddly they seem to have no idea how weak their performance is compared to well run coffee shops. They need help but instead they brag about how good they are. Ridiculous. Disappointing.Worst run coffee shop I have ever seen. Threw my latte away.
I'm not a coffee expert, but the vibes were good here. Coffee has kind of a lightly burnt/roasted taste but maybe that's the intent. Either way I liked it and the orange creamsicle muffin was delicious!

Came here on a few separate occasions and it’s amazingly peaceful and has a great vibe. The waffles are worth the trip and I can attest are made with love. One of the bakers Julie was reading to the dough telling it a bed time story. That’s how much love they put in the waffles. Overall great place and I’ll be coming back without a doubt.
First time trying, and I really enjoyed it. I got an iced caramel coffee with almond milk and a pastry that I can’t remember the name of. It had spinach and a savory sauce inside. My coffee was a little too strong and I asked for Splenda and the employee offered to make me a brown sugar sweetener which made it perfect! The pastry was also delicious. 10/10 recommend and will be going back! Great atmosphere
