My favorite Smithfield's in Jacksonville.I'm here almost every weekend after my band practice with my singer. We've probably paid the takeout window cashiers paycheck 3x over ?Oh and there are 3 PokeStops here as well!!!!
Fast service. The BBQ sandwiches are always exactly how I expect them to be. Chicken was fresh. My only complaint is the price of the pie. If it's prepackaged commercial pecan pie, it should cost less.
Outstanding service with such friendly staff. Amazing food at reasonable prices and the BEST sweet tea around.
Saturday 9 April 2022 we had a party catered by the Smithfield’s on Yopp Road.Our food arrived a few minutes early which was perfect. All the food was OUTSTANDING. The hot food was piping hot and the cold food was really cold and we live on the other side of town.The flavor of everything was phenomenal and everyone in attendance absolutely loved it. We received so many compliments on how good the food is/was.We ordered food for 40 people. 47 showed, everyone ate, everyone took home food and we still have plenty.The delivery man was extremely polite, courteous and loaded us down with condiments including ice baths for the cold food.We wanted for nothing and if you are planning a catered event, then look no further. Smithfield’s Chicken N BBQ on Yopp Road is the best of the best and you WILL NOT be disappointed!Oh yeah, their prices are so reasonable you won’t believe it!If I could give them 10 gold stars I certainly would.Thanks Smithfield’s!!???
Always great chicken, so much food for the money, I always have some for later , tasty chicken and pork sides are good too , I really like the slaw..
Stopped by Smithfield's BBQ and Chicken. I had the BBQ chicken platter with baked beans, brunswick stew and hushpuppies which I thoroughly enjoyed. The sweet tea was refreshing.The BBQ sauce was tangy and delicious with quite a strong vinegar flavor. Maybe a bit much for some folks but I liked it.The hushpuppies were nice and crisp but not too dry. The baked beans were great and the brunswick stew is always a go to favorite of mine.I'd definitely recommend Smithfield's for dine in or carry out. And we've used their catering service for family reunions in the past several times. It's always been a hit.
I always stop here for my family in Columbia because there isn't one in SC. The food is wonderful and management cares. The staff members are knowledgeable and the wait time was reasonable.
The staff were great but the chicken was disgusting. I took one bite and threw the whole plate away. Never again.

The folks behind the counter that build your meals should take better care keeping the items separated. I love BBQ but hush puppies in my beans or tater salad turning to mush is not cool. This won't stop me from getting my BBQ...jus say in..
