Service was a little slow but the waiter was by her self. And she was getting it done as fast as possible. So I have to say she did a good job. Food was fantastic. I am not complaining, the girl needs a raise. She did a great job.

You get your money's worth! Everything looks and tastes fresh. The Sampler appetizer is a great start. The crab dip is to die for along with the garlic buttered toast. I could eat this all by itself as an entree. By the time out entees came we were full and took most of it home. The salad dressing for Shrimp Louis Salad is very spicy and not traditionally what I am use to but still good. The Shrimp Poorboy was huge and tasty. The fries were excellent! The next day leftovers, we heated up the poorboy and it was better. I added more maynnoise to their Louis dressing and a touch of worchester sauce, yummy! I will go back.

Great service, friendly staff!

Terrible. My wife and I walked in on a Friday night (what seemed to be a slow night for a Friday), half the restaurant was full, the other half still hadn’t been cleaned from previous customers. We were the only ones waiting to be seated and waited probably 15 minutes just for 2 seats at the bar to be cleaned off. The wife ordered the scallop appetizer advertised as “delicious, and shareable (or keep them for yourself- they’re that good)” what came out was 4 chewy, half dollar sized “scallops” (not worth the $9.99). All the other food was just average, you do not get what you pay for here, incredibly overpriced. You would think a business advertising themselves all over Western boulevard and Jacksonville in general would put forth the effort to make a good impression. Will not go here again.

Came on a Saturday night and it wasn’t super busy. Bartender was very nice and gave good service. Food was nothing to write home about and had little to no flavor. We got a seafood boil and chargrilled oysters. Seafood boil wasn’t even cooked in the same pot and had no seasoning at all. Expensive for what you actually get. I would try it again but maybe order a sandwich or something next time. I enjoyed the atmosphere though.

It was ABSOLUTELY delicious! We had one lb. of crab legs and a bunch of shrimp which were prepared to perfection. Our server was professional and made sure that our dining experience was great!!

I've been craving some seafood for a while now and it was not the best. The people and workplace was very nice but the food itself just was not it. I got the low country boil just to try it out cuz I love me a good seafood boil! Unfortunately I was not impressed. The shrimp was cooked but lacked flavor. Not bad, just not good though. The sausages were more like cut up hotdogs thrown in and I didn't think you could butcher corn, but it was butchered and did not taste all that great. The potatoes mixed in were cooked well and tasted good. I tried to finish it but I had no desire to. I feel there is potential, but it just has not met that mark yet. A solid C

Food was delicious and the staff was so friendly. I am definitely recommending this place to everyone.

We were very excited when we saw they were opening up a Shuckin Shake in our home town of Jacksonville, as we had to drive 45 minutes to Holly Ridge/Surf City to the one there we loved. However, when it first opened we were a bit disappointed, as the menu is as not the same, not the level of food. NOW, after being here a bit, they have absolutely found their groove!! We now go regularly. They are the friendliest, and always accomodating! The food is now stellar! Get the clam chowder, which is not on the menu,.Happy to say, we are now regulars, hoping they never leave!!

I honestly don’t know why this place isn’t packed every night of the week! Good food, and good beer! We always walk in and there are a bunch of empty tables.
