Quality has deteriorated. This use to be our usual spot for date nights every 2-3 weeks since 2018. The fish no longer tastes fresh and there's a big turnover with the staff that they don't even know the menu nor the difference in various sauces. We thought at first it was just a bad day. A month later and the food has gotten worse. We've had 2 separate occasions where we felt nauseous while sitting in the booth after a couple of bites of sushi. The last time there we left without finishing our food and was comped for 1 appetizer. I had food poisoning lasting 3 days. Definitely will not be returning.
Disappointed… We regularly order here and lately they have been forgetting to put stuff in our take out. We ordered fried calamari this time and when I see how much calamari we got it was depressing.. even more sad is that they forgot to add the sweet chili sauce. $8.95 for such little calamari and forgetting the sauce too? They also expect me to drive 20 minutes to go back for the sauce. Comical. I used to love this place when it was a hole in the wall restaurant. I added a picture of it (my daughter had grabbed 2 when I took the picture).

It has been a long time since I’ve posted a review about this place. In the many years I’ve been to this place not only it’s gotten better but it got bigger too. When it comes to my options of sushi in this town this is my #1 choice. The food is amazing!!
Amazing service that was polite and accommodating. The sushi chef answered all questions we had about the food. The freshly hand rolls sushi, my wife ordered, was delicious. I ordered shrimp and scallop hibachi dinner, both were cooked perfectly being seared properly and had great flavor you expect from a hibachi grill. The house tea was fragrant and complimented the sushi well. For two we spent 50 which includes dinner for two and an appetizer and drinks. Which is good price wise. We will come back again and couldn’t ask for anything else when going out for dinner together after a movie.
In town for work and wanted Asian food. Had a pretty good rating. Had the miso soup, beef negimaki, spicy scallop roll and a hibachi plate. Food was delicious and the portions generous. Service was excellent. Had slight reservations being in a strip mall but they were unfounded. The beef negimaki was so tender. The chicken and steak hibachi was cooked perfectly. 10/10 would do again.
Hands down, the BEST sushi spot in Jacksonville & surrounding areas. I promise you I don't say this lightly. The sashimi is fresh, the rolls are done beautifully with fresh ingredients. You can taste the quality of the food. You can see how much time & effort they put into the presentation.
Pleasantly surprised with the new updated seating, lighting, and dining space. The waitress was amazing in her recommendations of menu items, was very friendly, and was not trying to rush us through our dining experience. Plenty of menu items for all tastes. I highly suggest everyone frequent this restaurant.
I've been here every weekend for 3 years... No I'm not kidding. A nice friendly get together every week. So yes. It's THAT good.
I'm in love with this place, my recommendation has to be a sapporo or orino and yakitori, both go great together.
