Rita's is always a good time. The man that works there is always super nice, always offers our kiddos samples to make sure they pick a flavor they'll like and is so patient when they take 2948527 years to pick one. I tried their cookie sandwich on this recent visit and totally recommend.
My bf and I went here on 3/28 and it was absolutely amazing! The woman who helped us was extremely nice, helpful, and informative! On top of that, the food itself was just phenomenal! We will absolutely be going here again!! (:
Since Ritas would like to delete the original review i left because there are choosing to deny customers of the lack of customer service they provide in there establishment i will repost, i normally love rita’s but after the customer service i received my the brunette working the other night i will not be back , i was in the parking lot already and called the 3 times they answered at 9:00 which is there closing time (i understand ) but answered the phone to whisper some words and hangup so i proceed to call back as i can see through the windows she chose to be rude and not uphold customer service standards. which i understand it was after operating hours but seriously some customer service would’ve been nice !
Every experience here is a great one. My husband and I religiously visit this location not only for the decadent custard but also the excellent service. There are so many flavors of Italian ice to try and the custard is to die for. My personal favorite is the cantaloupe ice blendini with vanilla custard. 100% recommend this establishment if you’re looking for a treat for the family or a late night craving.

I was excited to get some fresh Italian ice. Their menu advertises that they make their Italian ice “fresh daily with real fruit.”I ended up getting a flight with Lemonade, watermelon, and Tropical Island. I was disappointed to hear from the staff that these are not made from real fruit as advertised.If you just want something to cool you off and like fruit made from concentrate, this may satisfy your tastebuds. This did not hit the spot for any of us to be honest, and most of it went in the garbage. I had a taste of the vanilla custard as well, and it tasted like frozen butter.Positives from this visit was there is plenty of outdoor seating, service was fast, and glad the staff was honest. Even though no one can hide the fake fruit taste from these Italian Ice flavors.
Love their gelatis!!! I hate that the other two locations in the triangle area and Aberdeen closed down, but I’ll happily make the drive down to Jacksonville just to get Rita’s! Went there today for my wife’s birthday since she hasn’t been to a Rita’s in a few years. Always a great time visiting. Hope this location stays open!!
