Not a bad place. Loved the ambiance. I enjoyed the presentation except for the plastic container the chili came inside in. Food wasn't bad. I ordered chili with my burger but got fries. They quickly fixed it. The food tasted good. Full of flavor. The chili tasted like a burger patty but still tasted very good. I think it was. There was a big chunk that looked a hamburger patty. I ended up dipping my fries inside. There were two different people brought our food. The server was fantastic and on point. She was very nice and polite. We were never out of drinks until near the end. If your going to sit, I recommend a booth where all the pictures are located.
Very disappointed! Years ago we used to go to Red Robin 4-5 times a month. I am unfortunately saying never again!?Found out tonight that the Mud Pie has been removed from the menu! This had been the only reason we continued to visit albeit down to only a couple times a year. Service was very poor and they just made the excuse that they were short staffed. No spoons for the dessert we did get and the server tells us she had to pay the dish washer out of her own pocket to get anything washed! We had a VERY hard time believing that one. Got overcharged on my wife’s burger. Was told by the server we were getting a better deal by paying more. Not sure how that works. The manager was kind enough to only charge for what we ordered. All of the problems we had, in the past, would have led to her burger being free, but not any more. Good bye Red Robin after being a loyal customer for over 40 years.
Extremely slow for food to come out, they kept blaming the to-go orders. The size of the menu is out of control with items, not to mention the physical size. Two menus were longer than our table. The atmosphere is uncomfortably tight and dark. It took nearly an hour from the time we sat to get our food and the restaurant was only half full. The burger was mediocre, but the chicken sandwich was fantastic. Fries were good. Got the wrong cheese on my burger and never brought out the salad. Waiter was nice though. Probably won't come back unfortunately.
We have given this place so many chances. We have been coming to this restaurant for years. It was always so consistent over the 10+ years we have been eating there. There were long time servers that always gave such a great experience and the food was always phenomenal. However, something MAJOR has changed. Probably six months ago the entire staff changed overnight. We have been steadily getting worse and worse experiences but this most recent visit on 4/30 was the worst yet. We had to wait for 50 minutes to be seated after being told by the host it would be 20-30 minutes. The restaurant is only seating is maybe half of the inside at the moment. I haven’t seen them use the entire restaurant in over a year. Once seated it was another 15 minutes before our server greeted us to take our drink order. The table behind us also waited the same. The poor server seemed under trained and fumbled through the hand held device to get our order in. Once our food came out it was great. Honestly the only reason this review has 2 stars is because our food was delicious. We want this place to remain one of our go to places but the service here needs a change. I don’t know if there was a management change, a mass layoff or what happened but mistakes have definitely been made at the Jacksonville Red Robin. Please fix them so we can make this place a favorite again!
Good food. I had the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and a nice Boston Lager. My wife had the Royal Robin burger with egg and she loved it.Service was fine. It was a very nice time with the family.
My wife ordered online. The app was cool at first because it updated us such as: orders recieved, food being prepped, etc.. According to the timer I arrived just on time for pickup. My wife even texted me saying "you get it yet?". I parked in the pick up spot and called it in. They told me it wasn't ready yet, which wasn't a big deal. And that they would bring it out whenever our order was ready. Over 45 minutes later there was still no phone call. I walked inside, and I was told it STILL wasn't ready. However, there was a couple of to go bags setting on a desk to the side. Our order was there, so of course after over an hour, and another 20 minute drive home, the food was cold. I thought about microwaving it, but why should I have to in the first place? And the guac would get ruined. I love red Robin, but we won't be coming back this one.
My son wanted Red Robin’s for his birthday today. So we took him at 2-3pm today. We both got a burger and his little brother that’s 2 years old got 2 piece chicken tenders with fries. He was so tired he barely touched his food. I brought his food home with me so he can have for dinner but as I was cutting his chicken into little pieces the chicken wasn’t even cooked. The wait time to dine in the restaurant wasn’t a problem to me because I understand most places are short staff at the moment. But seeing my kids food like this really upset. I’m not one to complain but I’m very disappointed.
Really good. I got the Scorpion burger to go. It wasn't as hot as I thought it would be. Maybe the Scorpion sauce was missing
Everyone was working very hard given the staff shortage. Our food was delicious, our waitress Mindy was AH-MAZING, and every other employee was great. Keep up the good work :) y’all are doing great! We will be back!
I love coming here. Everyone from managers to waiters look out for you. Taylor was amazing. Took care of all 14 of us
