The quality of product has diminished since the change in mangement.I just bought 3 individual sides and was charged over 13.00 for them. Just to open them and discover less than an inch of food in the containers. 4 tsp to be exact.I feel like I have been stolen from. Cheated.As far as I am concerned I am posting my pictures and review for all my associates and coworkers to share. So they can spead the word of the lack of good service here. I asked to speak to a manager and was told to come back later as he was busy. Not good form for a manager. 20 plus years of restaurant experience and I would never tell a customer to come back later. I don't care hiw busy you think you are.
Machines are always broken. Drink machine was down in the store. Some of the menu TVs were turned off, inside was empty. Hot lines to serve food was empty. Even though I went inside to order, seeing everything off/ broken/empty made me question if they were open for dine-in. Normally they don't have a lot of food ready so I know to ask them what's ready but I didn't even want to do that. If there was another Popeyes nearby, I would go to one.
After sitting in the drive thru line for 53 minutes, they gave me cold food. I will never eat here again. Rude employee, extremely slow service, cold food, and no sauce!
No soda just water Wasn’t taught meal at all I had drive hour half to doctor appt then stop to eat No sauce nothing left I the store plus charge me extra for sure sauce Price not same as wall
I'm really not one to complain or be a Karen, but I will NEVER eat at Popeyes again. I ordered a chicken nugget combo with mashed potatoes with a Dr pepper. The syrup in my drink was out, tasted like seltzer water. I didn't have a spoon for my mashed potatoes....so when I finally drove somewhere else in town just to grab a spoon to eat them, I bite into this. I am literally nauseous. This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable.Yall DON'T EVER eat here!!!!!! ????
We enjoyed Popeyes when we went to Jacksonville, NC about once a month. Food was fresh, hot and good. We could get our favorite Fanta zero to drink even during the pandemic. Ownership changed and so did the food. Now it is no longer fresh, and sides keep shrinking in portions. Both chicken pieces and sides are smaller. And chicken is no longer seasoned like it once was. Even salt would help. Seems like they either don't marinate ?season it or they don't leave it in long enough or use the correct amount of seasonings. Many times they don't have slaw and shrimp is no longer available. You no longer have to wait in a long line because business has dropped off to the point you can walk up and order. That was another issue when ownership changed, you could not change which pieces of chicken you got without a nearly $2 charger per piece. So now they don't have any sugar free drinks except tea.and water. You pay for a drink but its not what you can have so you are out of luck. I can't wait to go to a real location that serves chicken like Popeyes usually has. But don't go to this location if you want good chicken.The employees are very nice and helpful.
Chicken was cooked very dark no flavor, shortages of menu items both food and drink, not a good meal. Drove 50 miles to shop how disappointing lunch.
Been here 3 times and they were out of chicken…. How is this place constantly out of chicken???? I would assume the store wouldn’t be open if they aren’t even selling the main meal that’s constantly advertised. I don’t know if it’s a shipping issue or if it’s the pandemic which I’m sure isn’t the store employees fault but seriously this needs to be fixed. I don’t usually leave negative reviews but this is just ridiculous at this point!!!!!
Speaker in drive thru didn’t work and workers are incompetent. Our order was taken incorrectly and when we nicely asked it to be corrected the person making the order through a fit. It seems as though everyone here is 15 and has no customer service skills or cleanliness training. Too bad this is the only Popeyes near Jacksonville. Corporate needs to step in.
Fantastic chicken nice and hot. Not busy health and safety protocols in place. Very clean. I love and take Popeyes over bojangles and kfc any time.
