They should just call this place box of onions. Because if you ask for no onions they’ll just give you extra onions. Giant onions not fit for human consumption. The phone never answers, the cashier never understands you , and you have a 30% chance of receiving an accurate order. Do you like watery shrimp? Well that’s what you get at box of onions. Shrimp marinated in water. Every time all the time. Shrimp cereal. Portion size is good though.
I used to love this restaurant until I had probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in customer service with the girl who works at the counter. She straight up LIED about not having any white sauce in the store and said they weren’t making anymore till later that night. Which I found hard to believe cuz how often does a Japanese restaurant not have white sauce. Which she lied about ever so rudely. Then when my order was ready I saw another lady open up a refrigerator FULL OF White sauce. At which point, I ask that lady if I can have the white sauce and she hands me a couple. Then the super rude girl comes back n I tell her I would like to pay for extra white sauce at which point she reluctantly and rudely agrees and gives me the white sauce after rudely making me wait minutes before finally handing it over while she complains her language and NEVER ONCE APOLOGIZED OR EXPLAINED WHY SHE JUST LIED about not having any white sauce. But because I’m a nice person, I didn’t bother calling her out nor did I be rude in return. This girl has multiple bad reviews just in the last couple weeks and obviously doesn’t belong working in customer service.
Good food but slow. They answer the phone, put you on hold, and then leave the phone off the hook so ordering ahead is difficult.
Ok, but staffing is an issue. Food is reliably good, but expensive for the quantity. The issue is the staff seems annoyed by the customers. It’s changed over the past few years and not in a positive manner. It’s still very popular.
We tried Miyabi for the first time today and we’re thoroughly disappointed. The girl working the counter acted like she hated her life. No hello, no what can I get you when we walked up. Just a dead stare like we were inconveniencing her with our business. Then I requested a water as my drink and she said, “fountain drink”? I replied yes, I’ll take fountain water. She said okay and I again told her water because I thought maybe we had a misunderstanding. She looked at me like I was stupid and said yes water. After receiving my receipt I realized I was charged $2.25 for a fountain drink. I should have gotten bottled water at this point but moving on. The tables are absolutely disgusting and sticky. The food was bland but their white sauce was really tasty. After swimming my food in the sauce it was edible. Bathrooms are very clean so that’s a plus. Maybe try working on the customer service?
This place was busy! Food was appropriately priced for servings provided as far as atmosphere reminded me of Subway. may or may not return again.
Chicken has been consistently dry (I have tried this restaurant off and on throughout the years due to this and the poor customer service which is also pretty consistent unfortunately) but I do love the veggies and sauces.
Used to love eating here. After tonight I probably never will again. Called in an order and both of them wrong on top of uncooked food. Complete waste of money. Tried calling to let them know and absolutely no answer.
The Sushi is terrible. There is plenty of good places around here that have sushi. The workers didn't look happy to be there at all. I did however see other people dinning in that looked happy and content with they're meals. Simply stating don't go here just for the sushi.
Food was good and reasonably priced. The issue my daughter and I had was the sticky tables. The writing on the plastic bag would transfer to the table. Made for an unpleasant dining in experience.
