OK so I've been to this place twice. I'm from the west coast and fly out to new river and Bogue field for work. Well this will always be a spot I will hit up if I'm in the area. Food is great. This time got the ribs. Very good. Staff is great. Very friendly as soon as you walk in. Would recommend this place. Food serves in a timely manner. This place is good to go.
This place is great,,, staff are nice, setting is great,, and the food is great as well. The BBack ribs are huge and tender. Ice cold beer. The only negative was that the BBack ribs didn't have a bark on them, you know the crispy dark layer of seasonings and flavor that builds on the outer layer of your slow-smoked bbq. The ribs were great though even without a bark and I will get them again
The food at Mission BBQ is AMAZING. The staff is kind, professional and attentive. We are frequent flyers here! Only downfall is that it is PRICEY. We understand the food is all homemade and it’s clearly high quality, so we will continue to go of course! We try to buy the reusable cups every once in a while because the proceeds go directly to help veterans!
We did a day trip to Jacksonville with the Newcomers Club of New Bern, we met at Mission BBQ for an early lunch. The food is fantastic, but I was blown away at 12 noon. They ask everyone to rise and they play the national anthem. We will be back.
Outstanding! Parking lot is a little tight it plenty of room inside! I love the sauce options. Not a huge fan of their half chicken but everything else I've had has been great!
Food was fantastic! This was just what we were looking for. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Took the time to explain the menu as this was our first time. Brisket, pulled pork, chicken and carrot cake were delish!Carole even came by to make sure everything was going good. THANK YOUWE WILL BE BACK AGAIN SOON!
Okay... So expected fall off the rib barbeque. My ribs were tough and not seasoned well. I usually don't eat my ribs with sauce but these ribs I had to. Ending on a good note... The fries were delicious and staff were helpful and courteous.
The food was good. The young lady at the register was awesome. The only reason this is getting 4 stars is portion size. When I spend that much for a dinner I don't expect to feel hungry after finising. I understand vendors prices are up but I would rather pay a little more and be satisfied than still pay what I did and not.
This place has the best sausage w cheese I've ever had. Handled our large group (>15) of people timely and nicely. Seemed clean. The sauces at the table were all really really good as well.
I love this place. Very friendly service, and never had an order come out wrong. The meat is juicy and delicious. Great, patriotic vibes wether the place is full or empty. I always have to get the bread pudding or cobbler. Someone always comes around to make sure I have everything I need even when everything is conveniently placed where I can’t miss it. Order your food, fill your drink and grab a table or booth while you wait for your name to be called. They do have “to go” and I was given the chance to see my food before it was bagged. Very pleased and my family loves it. The corn bread is good too!
