I came in with the intent of having lunch, so I sat & ordered a tea and water. I informed my server I would have to return to my vehicle and would be right back. I used the restroom first... toilet paper canisters were open, there was no toilet paper available. Toilet paper on the floor in stalls and wash area. Sinks were a disaster. walking through restaurant I saw tables balanced by folded paper towels and Dish cloths under the legs. Music from the kitchen was so loud you had to compete with it to have a conversation. Plus the employees conversation was incredibly loud, it could be heard throughout the dining area. Some of this conversation I would have deemed inappropriate to be heard in front of the customers.I am accompanied by a service dog, there was some discussion concerning my service dog. I understand that there was a service dog in the store before me that did not behave professionally and this resulted in a poor reaction to my partners appearance in the restaurant. I was comped my iced tea and given a repeated apology by one of the servers named Cara. I would like to thank her one more time???I was informed that the store manager was not present during this visit. I would like to think that things would be different next time

Called ahead to confirm wait time (10-15min)Arrived at 10:33am, waited 2 minutes for someone to put my name on the list which was still a 10-15min wait. They called like they said they would (10:47am) we were seated about a minute or two later. We did not leave the restaurant until 12:16pm. The service was horrible. Our waitress was no where to be found whenever we needed her. By the time she came to us to get our drink orders we had already decided what our meals were. An hour exactly after being seated I had to walk up to the register to ask where our food was. We received our childrens food after I spoke up but not mine or my husbands. This was another 5 min wait to receive ours. The food tasted off. As if it had been made and was just sitting there waiting to be taken to the customer. We had to go up to the register to ask for our check to pay for our meals. We were then scolded because “this is not how it’s done” we were supposed to wait for our waiter to give us our receipt. But where was she?Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Long wait times, arrived we were seated in a booth and the server came to start with our drinks took the order for 3 out of 4 drinks and walked off before I could order the last drink but he did return to take the remaining drink order a moment later. After ordering our order it took an hour to get the food and once it came it was not all correct. I ordered the Belgian Waffle Combo but was given French Toast instead which I cannot eat due to being allergic to cinnamon. The food once I received the correct order was not good at all, I usually ask for to-go boxes but in my opinion this food was not worth takeout. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this particular IHOP honestly.

For a restaurant not having any tables, it was dirty. Tables that had to be cleaned off and floors needed to be swept. Our server doesn’t introduce herself, I got her name off the check. That being said she brings out the kids food and partial of my boyfriends and I. Waited 10 more minutes for our omelettes. Then didn’t give us any condiments nor was asked if anything was needed. My boyfriend didn’t touch his food and wasn’t asked if anything was wrong with it. I had to remind her about my daughters whip cream and she brought the can out to put it on her plate. This will be our last time coming here. Training would be great for the serving staff. As a fellow server I did tip but not as great as I normally do.

Sat for almost 20 minutes before my drink was even asked for. 10 minutes later still no drink. Plenty of staff walking around with nobody doing anything

How do I choose 0 or negative stars? Very disappointing experience. This was my first time at this restaurant, and based on my experience, I will not return.Myself, my wife, and our granddaughter arrived around 9:00 am on Saturday morning, before the breakfast rush really began. When we entered, the hostess behind the counter was taking care of one other person in the lobby that had a take-out order. Once she finished with that customer, she disappeared. While waiting, 2 other parties arrived. When a different hostess finally appeared, she didn’t bother to ask who was there first, she simply began seating the others before us.Once at the table, the server arrived to take our drink orders. Simple order - 2 coffees and 2 milks, one coffee with cream and sugar please (They did not have these items on the table). I did not sit there with a stopwatch, but, in my opinion, it seemed to take a rather long time for our drinks to arrive, especially since things were not very busy yet. Coffee was barely warm when delivered, and cream and sugar were not delivered with the coffee. By the time I got cream and sugar, the coffee was cold.When coffee was delivered was when our order was taken. By this time, business was starting to pick up. Again, I did not sit there timing things, but this also seemed to take much longer than it should have to get our food. While waiting for our food, I attempted several times to get the server’s attention to ask for more coffee, but he seemed oblivious to any customer other than the one that he was attending to at that particular moment.When our food was finally delivered, it did not all come out together, and my wife had to wait an additional several minutes for her food to be delivered. At this time, I also pointed out to the server that I had not received my side order of toast that I had ordered. We were able to get our coffees refilled at this time, but again, they were not very hot. Also, the food itself was barely warm. Once our food was delivered, there was absolutely NO follow-up attention from the server. He seemed to have tunnel vision, going directly to and from other tables that he was waiting on, and not following up on other customers along the way, and oblivious to attempts to get his attention.The menu item that I ordered included all you can eat pancakes. I had no intention of abusing this privilege, but the main reason that I chose to go to this establishment was that I had a strong desire for pancakes that morning, and would have liked to have gotten at least 1 more serving, especially since the pancakes were rather small. Unfortunately, due to the lack of any follow-up attention from the server, I was never able to get his attention that (1) I would like to order more pancakes (2) We would like to get more coffee (3) I STILL have not received my toast.The eggs that came with my order were ordered over easy. I like to dip my toast in the yolk when I eat eggs that are prepared this way. Since I never got my toast, I never ate my eggs (which by this time were cold). I was finally able to get the server’s attention to ask for the check, and I made sure to point out that I had never received my toast and to make sure that he removed it from the check.When I went to pay my bill, I requested to speak with a manager, and expressed my disappointment with the service that I had received. To their credit, without my asking, they did apply a discount to my bill.Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, both in service and quality of food. I doubt that I will ever give them a second chance. Would NOT recommend it, especially after reading other similar reviews.

When my daughters and I arrived the hostess said she'd seat us in five minutes cause they had to clean the floor. We were the only ones there. About 20 minutes the waitresses cleaned off tables and the waiting area was full of people waiting to be seated with some waiting outside. When we finally got seated, we were fifth to order and last to get food. The food was good but they've down sized their pancakes. Wait staff was nice.

Go if you would like to spend over an hour waiting for your food. On Saturday 2/12/22 we decided to go to the IHOP on Richlands Hwy in Jacksonville NC. We arrived and had about a 15 minute wait which was fine. We were seated and our waitress took our drink order. She came back with our drinks and then took our meal order. There were many empty booths. We had been talking at our table when we realized an hour went by and we did not have our food and had never seen our waitress in that time. We started noticing other guests that arrived after us were eating and / or receiving their food. I went to the front and said I would like to pay for the three drinks that we had. They asked who my server was and I told them I had no idea as we had not seen her in about an hour. After about 5 minutes of them going to the back and coming out and the person at the front trying to figure how to ring up the drinks without a bill she told me not to worry about the drinks. We left the restaurant and went somewhere else to eat. I had never saw the manager in the time I was there after I voiced my displeasure. We will never go to IHOP again. It is sad that customer service seems to be a dying practice. We should have seen our waitress to at least address the lengthy time delay with our food. Live and learn, next time we will go straight to Denny’s.

The waiters were nice but the food was not together very well mine was missing some stuff that should have been with it. But overall it was not bad. Not planning on going back immediately but will go back again.
