Saw this one on the way and stopped on for a treat. Sprinkles on chocolate dip cone. Told me they would not stick and gave me a cup full of them. Worth every penny. Fast service sweet people.

First time visiting. I was just driving back home when I spotted this gem! One of the creamiest, refreshing and fresh ice cream I’ve ever had. It is cash only & they are only open Friday-Sunday. I highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back for some more.

The Ice Cream Shack is the best place to stop for Hershey's ice cream between Jacksonville and Duplin County! The owner is so friendly and sweet, and the ice cream is very reasonably priced. In a world of "safety" guideline craziness, their establishment is a breath of fresh air. You walk in feeling like it's 2019 again lol, and in a world where cash is deemed "germy/in a shortage" they only accept that good ol' reliable form of payment. In the few times my husband and I have visited on our way back from Jacksonville, we've really enjoyed our visits here. This is definitely one of my favorite small businesses to support!
The Most High works in very mysterious ways... I've been financially broken, and have been for the most part homeless came to Jax to visit my children. Came to this place and they were "closed for the season", but opened the door to me and my son and daughter... Gave them big bowls of ice cream, and didn't charge me a penny. May yeshua bless this family ??????
