I wanted to try this place out as it was a recommendation from hubby. I loved the variety of pizza, sun, and such that are available for customer to choose from. I went with the classic mushroom and pepperoni pizza slice and a slice of cheeseburger pizza. I couldn't stop staring at the pickles they put on top. The balance of flavors was spot on. Not too much mustard flavor. Def loved it and will try something else on my next visit.

Best in Jacksonville! My wife and I moved here a few months back and we’re excited to try all the new to us restaurants. I’ve made it a point to try every pizza place in Jacksonville so that we could figure out which was our fave after having some more mediocre experiences elsewhere.I have to say, Empire has won it hands down! The pizza and pasta dishes here have been nothing less than delicious.Admittedly I can be picky when it comes to pizza bc I’m from NY and consider myself well versed on the topic.I’ve had a lot of pizza all over the US actually and this place might even be in my top 5. We’ll def be ordering from here again and again!
I had the chicken parm sub. It was fine. It wasn't great, it wasn't terrible. It was average. The garlic knot, I assume that was what it was supposed to be, that came with the baked ziti was essentially burnt. Garlic knots should be soft, buttery garlickybut not crunchy. The baked ziti was fine but nothing to rave about. Just fine probably sums up the meal. Now to be fair I didn't have pizza so at some point in the future I will and I'll update at that point.
Considering there's no less than two dozen places to get pizza in J'ville, it's no small deal to say this is one of the best that there is. Lunch specials are well priced and the pizza is always delicious. The staff here are really friendly as well, and it never takes long for them to get your food out. Definitely recommend.
Although they keep writing Brad instead of Fred on the order, this place has amazing food, awesome and friendly staff. The place is clean and just over all great customer service. By far has the best New York style Pizza in Onslow County!!!
A couple of weeks ago, I commented about the terrible large pizza I purchased to go. The owner reached out to me & told me he would make it right. Picked up the pizza last night- it was very delicious !!! The staff was accommodating and very polite. It was a good experience. I would definitely return, request lightly baked crust and enjoy the pizza.
Im from New England and for the first time since moving down here in 2007, i found a place that has back home food. They have grinders that are out of this world. The pizza definitely reminds me of New York style thin crust. Staff is always friendly and the owner is working alongside his staff. Great place!!! If there is ever a wait, its worth it!!
Delivery, Dine-in, Take out…doesn’t matter. This family owned business is amazing. Great Pizza and Wings for football Sundays. Also some great sandwiches, garlic knots, etc…and a friendly, ‘local spot’ atmosphere.
