The meat was rancid on my tacos. I didn’t even eat them. And they didn’t offer to give me something else or discount it by taking them off my bill. I refused to eat them and the waitress even took them and threw them away. Told me there was nothing wrong with the food. I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life I know when meat has gone bad. It looked good but the smell and taste was putrid.
The first time I had Ceviché was in Costa Rica 11 years ago. Ever since I've been on a quest to find great ones here in the states.I'm here visiting my son & his family this week and decided we'd stop in here for lunch today. To my delight they serve a fantastic Ceviché!!Tasted incredibly fresh and the flavor was fabulous. I do NOT do spicy food at all but this had just the right amount of jalapeno with fresh lime, and was too much to finish, especially after eating their fresh chips & salsa.While we were greeted ok when we arrived, our service wasn't anything spectacular. I wouldn't say they were very busy but our server seemed like she was in a hurry. She wasn't really rude but she always wasn't exactly friendly.All in all, we will be back. The food was excellent.
Fast service, food is good. Found another place where good and delicious food is serve. Will definitely come back.
Yummy to our tummy! Quesabirria tacos are tasty ? Had our first tacos like these in Panama ?? City, Panama and found a hidden gem in Jacksonville, NC. If you want a new twist on tacos check them out!!!
Stop in for a visit.. Mexican food is my favorite..El Cerro Tacos customer service is wonderful, sanitation grade is A, nice/clean, and the food is amazing. I ordered Sopes and not all Mexican restaurants serve them. This is my new favorite place.
The service is always amazing even if they are busy. They make sure to check in with you and let you know if anything is delayed (however rare that is). Their food is AMAZING and they have the best mangorita I've ever had. ?
We went to El Cerro Tacos for a going away lunch with about 15 people. Service was fast and our food was really good. We arrived about 12pm and we all ate and paid our checks by 1:15 pm. Our server was super attentive and was able to split/combine all checks as requested. Highly recommend this place for large gatherings!!!
I got the bacon wrapped shrimp (topped with cheese sauce) and my husband got a burrito. Both were very big portions!Customer service was good, we will be back.
I really enjoyed the meal! I had a mix of 4 different enchiladas and enjoyed all of them. They bring chips and salsa right after you are seated and they seem to be freshly made. I'll be going back and trying other dishes for sure! The staff was also very tentative and respectful.
Best tacos we’ve had in Jacksonville!This place is wonderful; it’s really clean, very updated, and the food is incredible! Everything was so fresh and quick. We came in during the early lunch on a Saturday and we were seated immediately.The restaurant is really beautifully decorated. The mural is gorgeous, I absolutely LOVE the cacti on the tables and chairs. And their tacos were amazing.
