Newer seafood place in town. Decided to try out and see how they stack up against other seafood restaurants in town.Food was delicious and plentiful enough for price [email protected]$25 for 2 seafood platter: flounder, coleslaw, fries, hush puppies and one drink to share.Only reason for low rating is the access to place. I'm in cast and crutches, that made entry & exit impossible alone without help from others. No wheel chair accessibility that I saw.Entry door is NOT handicapped friendly, no automatic door opening or handicap button and narrow doorway.Overall, food and price was good. If I didn't have cast and crutches, I wouldn't have noticed the accessibility issue and gave them a 4 star for food and service.
I went there today and I'm shocked at the menu selection. I wish we had one in Swansboro. The customer service was way better than your average fast food place. The food actually took longer but the employees were awesome. If you like your coleslaw with apple cider vinegar, it didn't taste like it had any in it. The shrimp Po'boy was amazing. The fish was crispy while tender on the inside. I just wish they had Cheerwine on tap. I really should have taken a picture of my meal.
The restaurant is super clean and the staff is very nice and professional. Spent 70 on 5 plates of food and everything was delicious and good portions. Highly recommended this place if you like seafood. Thanks Zoey and your staff
I've eaten here several times, food has always been good, but we ordered the family fried flounder to take to our Mom's. Very disappointed, the hush puppies were burnt, and the flounder was over cooked, it was tuff to bite. We picked up from the drive thru on Thursday 2/17/22, about 2:30. Maybe there was a new cook, but was definitely over cooked. We will try again, because we really liked the food usually.
Very cute atmosphere. No matter what you order, you definitely get your money's worth. Your plate is piled high with fresh hot food, not something that's been sitting under a warmer for who knows how long. Very friendly staff
Great food, but coldest restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. Complained to the staff, but they said they had no control over the thermostat. It’s on the wall and set to 55* and on permanent hold! I know this can be changed. Many others were uncomfortable too and the staff all had on jackets and hats! We won’t be back unless it’s fixed.

I always have a great experience when going to Carolina Fish Fry. The staff always greets me with a smile and makes sure my order is prepared correctly. They always make sure to ask if I need sauce and go above and beyond a typical drive thru. The food is always hot and fresh! I highly recommend!
Staff is very nice. Service can be slow but the food is prepared on the spot and the wait times are reasonable because of it. Sometimes orders are not filled correctly.On my 2nd visit I ordered fried scallops. They were sweet and delicious. Perfectly cooked. On my 3rd visit, I ordered fried scallops again. This time they were tough, dense, and pretty obviously not real scallops.I will try again in the future.
Would give 0 stars if could. My wife & I called at 7:20 to check price on an order & the hours. They told us they closed at 8:00pm. We said cool we're on the way. We get to the restaurant at 7:30 & the doors are locked. My wife knocks on the glass& an employee waves her off but she thought she waved her to the drive-through. We walk to the drive-through and an employee was outside talking to someone in a car & tells us they are closed! How are you closed at 7:30 after we just called & spoke to someone who tells us you close at 8:00, we inform you we're coming, & the doors are locked & we're told you're closed ten minutes after we call at 7:30, not 8:00. The business these days& employees working in them have poor customer service & always seem to close way before they're supposed to. Needless to say we won't be eating here anymore after being lied to & wasting our time walking there..... WOW Addition: Walking back home after ordering DQ instead, they are serving a car in the drive-through at 7:59! What ever happened to we're closed at 7:30?
