Decided to give the Ale house a try while visiting my Marines. First off the atmosphere was bad inside. We were sat in the bar area and the music was terribly loud. Then a family with 5 kids was sat down behind us and to say they drowned out the music, one couldn’t think. We asked politely to be moved outside and enjoyed the rest of our afternoon. Waitress was attentive, food was good, prices were average with the times. Ribs I was told were excellent and the chicken was good, just a lot of food. Be prepared to roll back to your vehicle.
It really saddens me when people are not professional. I made it to go order from the bar. I had two drinks while waiting for my order. The Establishment itself was not packed. I placed the order at around 11:30 p.m. I saw what I believed to be my order waiting near the kitchen area at about 11:50 p.m. I did not know for certain if it was my order, but I didn't say anything. At around 12:20 a.m., the bartender bagged up the items that have been sitting. I asked her if in fact those were my items that have been sitting for about 30 mins. To her credit, she asked if the kitchen could prepare it again and I told her that I was fine with that as long as it wouldn't take long. I was irritated but I did not treat her in unkind manner... She threw the bag and said she could take it off no problem. It is not my fault that they left my food sitting... I believe that better training and attentiveness to the customers would do this place well
We returned to this restaurant because last year when we visited it was awesome! Today was my birthday dinner and it was horrible. Took over an hour for our meal to arrive and we got the appetizer we ordered after she brought the meal! Steak was tougher than an old tire, roasted vegetables were refrigerator cold, and it tasted as if someone grated an onion over the top of the coleslaw!!! The waitress was apologetic and offered to have them make me another meal"to go". Really, you're kicking me out?! They did comp my meal but should have completed the entire dinner. I can say we won't be back!!! Horrible food and the service was awful for a nearly empty restaurant!!!
Not a good experience. Water spilled on us, took over an hour to get our food (we were there at 4:30 on a Tuesday). 3 people got their food, then it was another 10-15 min before the rest came out. Waitress said there was some miscommunication in the kitchen. Left all peppers off my quesadilla, but it was still spicy. My husband's burger was absolutely terrible. I have to say the fried chicken salads looked good. $116. later, maybe 2 or 3 of the 8 of us were satisfied.
Went here 4x since October 2021, this review will cover all visits. Cobb salad is simply the best fresh salad ever. The flatbread is outstanding. Fish & Chips were hot, tender, and well seasoned. Sweet and Sour Chicken was unexpectedly unique but so tasty and perfect. We will keep going back.
The food is absolutely phenomenal. I went on a Sunday evening and they were not super busy so we had good service. I have heard that their service is not always great. Overall, loved the food and have no complaints about our server.
We came there on a Friday night. It wasnt super busy. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Sadly the food was not very good tonight. We told the waitress and the manager offered something else but we declined. He took off both my wife and I's entrees. It was super awesome of him. It was nice to see a business that cares enough about customers to fix mistakes.
I've been to better restaurants. My boyfriend and I ordered burgers and 2 appetizers. One of the appetizers wasn't even put in correctly. Then they brought the burgers and one of them was made incorrectly. I made the bartender aware of this and she put the order back in to be remade. Then the burger was brought to me again made incorrectly. It's not rocket science.... I've been a waitress, a bartender, AND a cook.. If you can't take an order and memorize it then WRITE it down.
2 stars because the service was good but the place was almost dead when I went. Ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap but it had waayyyy too much sauce. I had to drain the sauce out because I was drinking it. The fries are good but it's an extremely small order in a salsa bowl. Ordered a drink that was supposed to have fresh strawberries as a garnish but it had no garnish at all. Took two gulps of the $9 drink and it was gone. Then drank two margaritas and felt nothing. Also the coleslaw was watery and tasted pre-made. Tried to sub the coleslaw for fries but waitress charged me for everything anyway. Bad experience. Had to go to cookout afterwards because I was still hungry. Expected better.
Went to this place thinking that the food and service would be decent but, oh was i wrong. Although we were sat down fairly quick, things only worsened. The server would really only come by when I flagged him down, our food took almost an hour to get (which it wasn't busy at all for a Monday night) and I was given the wrong order. Given how long it took to get the did in the first place, I made my complaint to the server but still chose to keep my wrong order, which was disgusting so I didn't finish it. Yes, the server did apologize and changed the charge in our orders from soft drinks to waters but that didn't help me out at all since my drink was already a water. Absolutely horrible service and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
