The Lost Cajun was a perfect piece of home I was missing
Very authentic Cajun food the atmosphere did remind me of New Orleans it brought me back when I visited there many years ago I can't wait to go back to visit New Orleans this time with my fiancee And possibly get married there in New Orleans my favorite place I absolutely adore New Orleans and thank you The Lost Cajun restaurant for being back such beautiful memories to me and I wish you nothing but wonderful success in your amazing restaurant and business
First visit here for a late weekend lunch. Service is really friendly and efficient. Decided to try a few menu items to see what we liked. Unfortunately, we liked everything we tried!! For appetizers, we went with the zydeco shrimp and the boudin balls, both were very tasty. For entrees, we went with the shrimp boil (lots of big shrimp) and the fried oyster po boy (the bread was awesome which really made the sandwich)…. All in all, this was a great experience!!
Epic sauce, yummy yummy in my tummy
Food was unbelievably BLAND! Nothing about the fried oysters. Fried alligator bites, fried okra or the fried chicken Cajun pasta was like the taste New Orleans seasoned food nor any food that has been seasoned. I was excited because I was expecting flavor because this restaurant is representing New Orleans… hopefully it was just a bad day for the chef……… best of the luck to the owner(s) of The Lost Cajun…….
Decor is fun. Staff excellent and inviting. Food was good but not as good as we expected from the top ranked restaurant in Huntersville. Our party had shrimp and grits, lobster bisque, gumbo, and fried fish. They were all fine but none were outstanding. Pricing was also very fair for what you get.
First visit for my family and I and we loved it! The server was very knowledgeable and nice. She brought out a sample plate of their most popular items for us to try before we ordered. I'm not a big seafood person, but I tried the shrimp and the fish and it was out of this world. They fried it just right with the perfect amount of breading. Also do yourself a favor and save room for dessert and order the beignet.
Very good cooking, casual, no wait on a Friday night. Rachel provides excellent service, the ‘Cajun Mary’ was a well made Louisiana version of a Bloody Mary. The Jambalaya and ‘Chicken and Sausage Gumbo’ are recommended.
Took my mother here for mother's day. Very nice place. Friendly staff. Food is good. The red beans and rice did not have any flavor but after I doctored it up it was good. The prices are good for a seafood menu. I would like to see claim chowder get added to the menu. Gator bites are well flavored and good.
Good food good service friendly staff
