As someone who came from up north, this is by far the closest to NY style pizza I have found in the area. Our family loves this pizza, and it is our go to place. That being said, we tried one of their pasta dishes our last visit and it was terrible. It honestly tasted like plastic. The calzones were good, although one of them was soggy in the middle, which was obviously not very appetizing. The other came out much better and was enjoyable. We usually get takeout, but they do have seating at the restaurant itself. It's a smaller place, with nothing too fancy. You order at the counter and then sit and wait for your food.
The ratio of sause, cheese and topping were perfect! This pizza want oily and it all held everything in place. The other food was good, but could be worked on. The pizza is they only thing you need here.
We were staying at the Hampton Inn next door and feeling disappointed that there were only fast food type eateries adjacent to the hotel. We ended up choosing Rocky's Pizza, not expecting anything special. But the penne ala vodka dish was really special!! It really was the best I ever had. Crushed tomatoes cream sauce, capicola, pasta cooked perfectly, and in a large portion. The meatball grinder was delicious, too. What a nice surprise to find such good food - at a very reasonable price - in a fast food-type restaurant! I was hoping it was a chain so that we could find another location near our home.
Stumbled upon this gem on our way traveling home to Pennsylvania. Hands down the best pizza calzone and Stromboli we have ever eaten. The dough was fresh , slightly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside with just the right amount of olive oil and garlic. We will make a point to stop again the next time we are traveling south!
Good pizza! Thin crust, well cooked. The dough was not chewy, yet not burned. The sauce wasn't overwhelming, which gave the toppings a good balance. Definitely will go back!
Rocky’s pizza has become our favorite pizza! When we are in the area, we definitely make a point to eat here! The quality and cost go beyond our expectations! And the owners seem so appreciative of our patronage.
My second time eating there the 1st we got pasta & this time we got pizza which was also good. I am sorry didn't take pictures of the pizza. But I will be back
Family owned and operated NY style pizza. This place is finominal. Had a dozen knots (they were large), a large supreme pizza and a carnivore with my family of 6. We finished every piece.If you are looking for authentic NY style pizza from a family owned pizzeria, then this place is a must.We forgot to take a picture - didn't think you would want to see the empty pans.
