This restaurant has a great sushi ? menu, great appetizers and specialty drinks like martinis that are so good.The service is very attentive and knowledgeable.Located in Birkdale shopping area, with outside and inside tables. Spicy Tuna and Spicy Yellowtail rolls were spot on. The other orders in the party of 7 had no complaints and looked very delicious
Empty restaurant and cleaning a 30 minute wait. Worst service ever. The staff is rude. And it’s overpriced sushi for mediocre food.
We had a great time. The ambience is upscale without being stuffy. Highly recommend the saki flight taster and the crab Rangoon dip. Can't go wrong with any of the sushi rolls. My friend got an off menu roll (called ming? maybe) that was on a previous menu and they made it for her. So sweet! Ryan was an excellent server. Mongolian beef and poke dip were also tasty.
Today was a great experience with my waiter Cameron! He was patient, make great recommendations and attentive! His attire was clean and he smiled, something that most don’t do anymore., being pleasant is important. He Refill my beverage and followed up on my request. The food and presentation was good, fresh and plentiful. This is my 7-8th time eating here. At one point the food was Blah ?, the portions had been reduced and every was in there own world. It was clean with nice music playing. I hope you enjoy the extensive menu, great selection and the pad Thai… delicious! The salad was so fresh. OMG the tuna was great too in my roll.
Service is friendly and prompt. With very good bento box selections on the menu. Edamame is always warm with the right amount of sea salt.
Met up with friends for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Draft Sapporo at the bar and a cocktail while we waited for table for 8. Bartender was friendly and described drinks as she made the in front of us. Once sat, service was friendly and attentive.Turns out this is apparently sister (?) restaurant to Cowfish as they chopsticks wrappers had both logos. Sushi was good, can get pricey depending on what you get. BUT the rolls are actually pretty big compared to sushi from other places.We enjoyed our food and time here.
A week ago family and I were excited to visit as we have dined here plenty of times before and always had a great experience. Walked in around 7:45 and was told it would be be 15 minute wait. We were seated a little after 8 pm. Ordered 2 appetizers. The crab dip came out promptly but our sushi roll that we wanted for an app didn’t come out until we asked for it. It took another 45 minutes for our food to come out. Two people in our party ordered chicken teriyaki stir fry. They came out as a giant chicken breast with teriyaki sauce on top of rice. The other two entrees came out freezing cold. At this point we were just ready to eat and leave. We sat and waited an extremely long time for our check. We had to ask someone to get our waiter so we could pay. Our family loves coming here and we were extremely disappointed by our visit. Left a review on google and was told to send an email to [email protected] So I sent an email and still haven’t heard any response from my email.
Nestled in Birkdale Village, this gem is a great find! The service is unbeatable, the food is delicious, atmosphere is inviting, and the whole experience is unforgettable. Great menu selections and generous portions. Food prepared how you like it. If you want to share, they will split entrees and serve them up on separate plates. There's no separate menu for lunch/dinner, so portions are plentiful, but there also is no "lunch specials" pricing. That being said, it is worth the money. The sushi is beautifully plated and fresh. You will not be disappointed. Great place to dine with friends, coworkers, family or to celebrate an occasion.
