Duck Donuts is my go to donut shop in the Lake Norman area. they make their donuts fresh and they give you options to customize your own donuts or get a predesigned donut, as well as seasonal options. my favorite is the sunrise, which has lemon glaze with a raspberry drizzle on top. it's super fresh and fruity and is always the best on a hot summer day! Every time I visit, the staff are super friendly and very attentive, the restaurant is always super clean and well maintained. overall, if you're looking for great donuts in the LKN area, definitely go to Duck Donuts!
Duck Donuts has the absolute best donuts! And a great selection of toppings, frostings, and drizzled! The service is normally relatively slow which is understandable because of the nature of their business, but you can order in advance if needed! They are made fresh and right in front of you! They are most delicious when fresh, but can be reheated for days after picking up.
Always friendly staff and the best cake donuts! It's great being able to watch them make the donuts from start to finish!
My son and his family rave about Duck Donuts in Huntersville. I had them once before and was impressed . A couple days ago I stopped at your shop and ordered a half dozen donuts. They were overcooked and so grease soaked I could not eat them. They were horrible! Sad to say I won't be buying them again.
This is a nice clean place. Assorted coffee and hot chocolate to go with all these fresh made treats. Staff was friendly and greated each customer, we even got a Christmas song from one of the workers as he sang all I want for Christmas out loud lol. My only issue was not to have a bacon covered doughnut. I don't eat pork. So when I drive home and open the box there it is. Other wise I would go back nice prices too.
Disappointed. We ordered duck donuts for the first time and were very excited. We ordered the duck dozen and the earliest time for pick up was 11:30AM which was perfect. The next day we head over there to pick up our order around 11:30 and on the receipt it says that our order was ready at 6:30AM. We later realized we got an email at 6:30AM to let us know it’s ready. Why would you make them so early when our pick up time is 11:30AM. They sure tasted like donuts that have been sitting on the counter for 5 hours. Won’t be ordering there again. The krispy cream donuts from the super market taste fresher.

I have been to both locations and I have to say that I prefer the Charlotte location over this one. They put the toppings on while the donuts where still hot so everything melted and ran to the bottom of the box. Not to mention how nasty the outside of the box was. Sticky on top, bottom and all sides. And I mean it was practically covered. I will visit ducks again but not this one.

Literally the best donuts I've ever had! Thank God the store isn't too close to me... I'd be very overweight if it was closer. ? The donuts are made right after you order. The toppings are amazing! Warm and fresh, just amazing.
