We live in Ohio and drive out of our way anytime we are heading to Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina to vist Brixx at Birkdale! We have introduced our favorite wood-fired pizza to our adult children and also a co-worker who all stop in when in the area. We love the great food and service and it is located among wonderful little pedestrian shops at Birkdale.
Great tasting food and super friendly service. Pizza was excellent as well as our salad. Nice patio are that is dog friendly. Definitely would recommend. In a great spot.
The pizza was great! The chicken was ok. Our waitress was so awesome! She definitely the reason why it earned the fourth star. The atmosphere was energetic. I would definitely go back to eat here.

We went on a Friday night about 2 hours before close .Place was barely busy maybe 2 other tables with a few people each and like 4 people at the bar. Food was ok was smaller then a tradition size pizza and was expensive for it's size. The server we had was barely at are table and was no where to be found for around 20 mins within the dinning area for us to request refills. (Could have been in bathroom or cleaning)
Got a seat quickly even though the place was fairly busy. Waitress was polite but not exactly friendly. Seemed very rushed to take our order. The place seemed well staffed. Our food came out very quickly. My friends both got pizzas. I order ed d the meatball pomodoro. Very tasty although all their pasta is angel hair. Spaghetti would have been better with red sauce. Meatballs were good although just slightly undercooked. They seemed to be rushing the food out very quickly. Maybe slow down a little. I could have waited a few more minutes for the meatballs to be done. Prices are very reasonable. Portion size was generous.
We have eaten here every so often over the years and usually had a good experience. Never again. We ordered curbside tonight and the email said our food would be ready at 5:26 pm. My husband arrived with our sleeping toddler in the car - had to call multiple times and was always told they would be right out. He finally had to wake up our child at 6:15 to go inside and get our food. No apologies and no offer to make it right - and no offer to give back the tip that was NOT earned. So disappointed.

Been to Brixx many times, but tonight I had the cauliflower crust on the 4X4 pizza. Outstanding! Seriously, no more regular crust pizza for me. It was a delicious crust and the flavor of the 4X4 was perfect. Our server was Jill, who was truly on her game. No sooner would I take the last sip of my beverage than she was there with a fresh one. Great service.
There accommodate a small group for an 8th year old Girl's Birthday!!! Delighted they way the Treated Us!!!
