Went for brunch today. Great service and the food is amazing like always.
If you’re looking for a sign if you should come here, PLEASE give it a try. this is the cutest restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food was delicious and the seating was comfortable. Foods I didn’t think I would like in a dish, I loved. I was so shocked but had heard great reviews and had to try it. My server Moyra was pleasant and always attentive to my dietary restrictions and answered all my questions. 5/7 service. I’ve been here multiple times and this review is consistent with each time.
This is one of my favorite spots! I can’t tell you how much I love their food, everything so delicious, you don’t ever need to be afraid of trying different foods because this chef will surprise you!
We were a large group of 7 adults, 2 teens and 2 small children celebrating a birthday. It was our first time at PTR. We got there right when it opened for Sunday brunch but there was a long line and a couple big parties before us. The host was super accommodating and gracious keeping us updated on the table status. The front porch had a lovely breeze and plenty of seats while we waited. One server brought waters for the kids which was greatly appreciated! We were SO HAPPY we waited because it was 100% worth it for the food!! However, our server Amy must have been having a bad day because she seemed very put out by any requests, was very stern and short, and kept cutting us off when we spoke to her. We will return again for any meal and will make a request for any other server who will help elevate our next PTR dining experience!
We had been meaning to visit this place since it opened, and we finally snagged a Sunday morning! We arrived at 10:45, and there was one party of five in front of us. By the time it opened at 11:00, there were 7 parties in line. They had no trouble seating all of our parties upon opening. We had the choice of indoor or outdoor covered patio seating. We chose indoor because my kids love to look at decor... little did I know this place was expert at providing decor distraction! So many cute touches, from the monkey wallpaper to the bathroom roses (I'll not spoil details for you).Food: Ahhhmazing. My kids loved the Sunday Sundae ? and proclaimed it was the best ice cream they'd ever had!The tea is a must. We all enjoyed the excuse to use sugar cubes. ?My special sandwich was gourmet AND filling, which is not a frequent combo anymore! The owners were always helping and making sure patrons were taken care of; our server, Kelsi, was very friendly and loved spoiling our kids ?.We just never wanted to leave - but our bellies were full and we knew we'd need to make room for the rest of the Sunday crowd.Well done, PTR. This restaurant is a welcome, unique addition to the growing Main Street Holly Springs vibe.
Just an amazing little restaurant. The food is fantastic, the cocktails are really, really well made and the restaurant itself is adorable and creative as all get out. The staff is fabulous, always helpful and friendly. I’m a regular here now! ?
Adorable space. Plenty of parking in the back. Indoor and outdoor dining. Walk-in only. Incredible staff. Delicious food that changes regularly and so many tea options!
This is a fun place to visit with many touches of whimsy. The scones were excellent with the grapefruit curd butter. I had a seasonal tea, limoncello, which was fragrant and delicious. My favorite was the 10-layer vegan salad. I'm not a vegan but it just sounded, and was, very good. I will be returning with friends, including my vegan friends as there were suitable soups, salads and sandwiches.
Great food with a great atmosphere. My husband and I went for Sunday brunch and the service was wonderful. We had excellent tea and they were even able to make dairy free accommodations for me. We will definitely be going back.
We were visiting the Raleigh area in search of rental properties and the Pimento Tea Room was recommended by our Real Estate agent as a spot for lunch. We absolutely loved the ambiance of this place, the decor sets off a fantastic vibe. So many unique details to take in (for example: the wallpaper in the rest rooms will make you laugh). If you are a tea lover, this will be heaven for you. The hot tea selection and table service are top notch, their iced tea is also one of the best I've ever had. Be sure to start off with some scones (with accompanying flavored butters). We could have just ordered plates of these and considered it a highly successful meal! We moved on though to some sandwiches (the chicken salad and the ham) that were also really well done. They also have a 10 layer salad that was a veritable taste explosion, a fantastic assembly of tastes! We absolutely loved this eatery and want to relocate to the area just to be able to return often....
