You would think at a pizza place, the pizza would be the star of the show. If it had been once, since( I have heard great things about it.) it certainly wasn't any more. I got an individual marinara pizza. The crust was ok, but I've had much better sauce out of a jar ( I recommend Harris Teeter). It tasted like plain tomato sauceIf there were any spices I couldn't see smell or taste them, ( and I was Covid free,). The portions of both the sauce and the cheese were skimpy. I wish I had ordered wings like my husbands which were delicious. I won't be back. Can anyone please tell me where I can get a good pizza or do I have to Chicago to get one, or keep making them at home?
Got a 10" Margherita pizza, chicken tenders with fries and a Jerk Chicken sandwich also with fries. Was prepared quickly and was still hot when I got home. Enjoyed their food and will definitely come again. Unusual location in a professional type building though, was a bit tricky to find the entrance. They also have a small bar with a decent selection of beers and wines, some local.
Always happy with the meal. Wait staff very pleasant & fun.Our favorite is the Greek pizza.
Hole in the wall place for sure, very home. Hard to find the entrance. I wish they had more signs. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Banging sweet tea.
Ordered a pizza through door dash several weeks ago. Thought we had discovered our new favorite place. Ordered again through door dash this evening then found out they haven’t worked out their third party architecture. Waited for hours then got a notice that our order was canceled. Called the manager and he recommended we used door dash or grub hub? Management has no clue how to reconcile this stuff and are unwilling to be flexible as such. Website says to refrain from using the online food apps, yet they maintain a presence there. Would pass if you you’re an app style consumer who expects positive responses from restaurant leadership.
Pizza is good If you are willing to wait for quite a while. Can’t really remember the last time my order was ready on time.
Ordered a small white pizza and added broccoli. There where exactly 4 small pieces of broccoli on the whole thing and about 2-3 pieces of the other toppings. Cheese was inedibly thick and made the toppings slide off the crust and the bottom mushy. Pretty disappointing but I’ll give it 2 stars because the crust at the top was actually nice and I don’t want to seem like a Karen that gives places a 1 star unnecessarily.
Ordered three meals on 1/14/22. French dip sandwich, chicken tenders with fries and Patty melt and a cheese cake. We got the meal home to discover no Aj ju sauce for the French dip, all the fries were cold and the cheesecake was wrong! Yeah, not the first time we've had issues with the joint, but it will be the last!
Stopped in with my son for a quick snack and to play some Ms. Pacman. I wish I had gotten her name, but the woman there was very patient and so very kind to my son and I. And the shoestring fries were as good as it gets.
Great food and beverages. Just depends on the servers experience level that looses a star
