Upon walking in we were greeted by owner and he was so nice- I really appreciated that touch. The service was prompt, tacos FANTASTIC, and drinks were FAB. These tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had. The tortillas tasted handmade. I cannot wait to go back and also throw ax’s.
The Wicked Taco, sweet potato fries, and the Smith's Nachos were out of sight. The service and atmosphere is impeccable. I will be a repeat customer.
The owner, Jeff, told myself and my 2 coworkers, who were running the store open to close, preparing all the food and not making managers wage, that he was permanently closing the High Point location a few weeks ago at the end of our shift with no prior warning. All adults with bills. Just for us to find out he reopened it and teens are running it. -3/10 recommend Go to San Luis across the street.
We love this place usually. We drive 70 miles round trip to eat here. We got there today and got the worst non-service ever. Two young women behind the counter. One was so frazzled trying to wait on customers, prepare the food and run the register. The other young woman was on her cell phone the whole time. She completely 100% ignored us. The one that was trying to do everything asked her to get off the phoneand help or at least get out of customer's sight. Her request was ignored. We walked out.
Just what the area needed a friendly bar/grill atmosphere with the most amazing service and delicious food! We cannot wait to go back and see our favorite bartender and try all the other amazing tacos! Definitely recommend!
Some of the best street tacos i have ever had. Everything was super fresh, place was clean and it was very affordable. Staff was also polite. Can't recommend this place enough
A tasty variety of taco choices. I celebrated my lunch in memory of my son... it was definitely many levels above Taco Bell? I will go back.
Spending the week here in High Point to spend time with my grandma while she recovers from some health issues at Wake Forest.Saw Wicked Tacos on my way there and had to stop by to try a couple of tacos. This place is cool. Would do a lot better in a place like Northern Virginia but coming back to it I like the whole vibe of the place.Service is quick and courteous. Solid 5 for only that.Coming to the food honestly all three of my tacos were fresh. The tortillas were thin yet fluffy and every topping on it had a fresh bite. From the meats to the veggies in the pico everything tasted fresh.Solid over all 5. Place looks new so I highly encourage everyone to support this local joint.Definitely stopping by one more time before I head back to NoVA.
Placed order on website, which charged our card. Received an error message and called to make sure they received the order, since it still charged us. Not a great start but the reason for the one star is for LYING to us and wasting our time. They told us they’d make it and took our order over the phone. We were nice and appreciative that they were following through. Told us to arrive in 15-20 minutes and it’d be ready. My husband gets there and they a: try to double-charge him, but also b: didn’t even start making the order. We waited the full amount of time they said, didn’t receive any calls back, and then drive up there for NOTHING. So you lied to us and then want to double charge us AND make us wait another 20 minutes? They refused him, so I told him to leave it be and that I would dispute the charge. Waste of time and will not be back. I strongly caution everyone against using their website to order.(Make fun of my name if you want. I’m usually an easy customer who leaves nice reviews. ?♀️)
Used to be my fave taco place ever but I’ve noticed lately all the workers have stopped wearing masks. Cases are rising again and it’s disappointing. This lack of care about the health of their customers is scary and makes me wonder if they even wash their hands since they don’t care about possibly spreading Covid. Super disappointing. I’m looking for a new taco place and you should too.
