I can’t believe how I was treated at this Waffle House at this location. I am a mature Black male. I came alone. I didn’t receive a “Hello”, Waitress came buy asked me for my order. Waffle came first, cold, then coffee came second, old and cold, I was giving eye contact to anyone who looked over my direction, very little of that. Instead, one waitress looked and laughed at me to another waiter. It seemed that I was not very welcome at all here. My dark skinned complexion seemed threatening here. I’m learning my lesson since I moved from NY In April of 21’. There was no equality as far as human compassion there and there is certainly none here. Times haven’t changed it seems. Before I was done with my meal, and most disgusted at the lack of service, I channeled that energy to open the door of an elderly couple. Not my complexion of course. A small experience, yes. A lasting impression about people in today’s world, no. Why? History doesn’t lie about everything. Especially when it’s in your face!
I like this waffle house because they're approximately 5 mins away from my job. The food is good and this place is open 24/7. You can get breakfast all day long and tey serve burgers. My experience here was good and they have some great people that work at this restaurant. They could use some more workers and if you like waffle House you could probably work here.
I love Waffle House. The woman who served us was new and in training. Her trainer made sure we were aware our waitress was in training. I thought that was great.
Best Waffle House in the triad. third shift cook hunter is freaking amazing, Abby is a great server, Liz is an amazing also. Great place, 10 out of 10, eat here all the time
Amazing. Staff was short handed and busy. But they were amazing. Great attitudes, getting orders out asap. Keeping customers informed of times and how things were moving. Even with specialized picky orders. Wish all hospitality services had people as great. Way to go, Hunter and Aliya
No one acknowledged we had arrived. There’s was plenty of space to be seated on, they weren’t clean. Waited about 8 minutes, still no one had greeted us. While we stood at the counter area . Heard employee tell another “well, they can wait..” Absolutely no professionalism.
The sevice was good and fast. Liz my waitress was ? awesome?
My son and I went to waffle house for dinner tonight. I asked for my toast dark. I received it lightly toasted. I asked the server again for my toast to be darker received it a little darker but not dark enough. Than the cook Edward Madison(If that is his right name) screamed at me. completely unacceptable. when I asked the server his name she replied " I don't know his name but I'll find out." she asked him his name he screamed Edward Madison twice across the resturant. then he made a snide remark I'm going to let Amy know I'm getting a complant. The waitress then started talking to other customers they started looking at us. I put my credit card up there to pay. the waitress did not come back to get my credit card we sat there for 10 minutes waiting to pay. so I left cash. She made a mistake I would have tipped her 30 percent but since we had to wait to pay we didn't tip her as much. we will not return there are plenty of places we can eat.
The food was great. This time however I mistakenly left my wallet in the booth during the late night shift. I was incredibly relieved that when I went in the next day and the staff had found it and professionally verified my identity before returning it with all contents intact. Honesty in this day in age is rare! Thanks Westchester Waffle House! You guys are awesome!!
Service was fast. Our waitress was super friendly. Great food too.
