I wanted to go somewhere I hadn't been before, so I decided to give this place a try. When I first sat down I was met with surprise as the bench I was sitting on felt as though it was broken underneath. Nonetheless, I repositioned myself and settled in. The menu is quite large with a lot of different things including seafood. They immediately brought out chips and salsa, and I ordered a margarita. They brought it out really quick and while it had a lot of tequila, the lime tasted a bit old. However the chips and salsa were delicious and the rest of my food, a shrimp chimichanga and cheese was pretty good. I also ordered flan that was just ok. I would try them again maybe in the future and my opinion may change. Otherwise, I thought it was all mediocre.
There prices have gone up astronomically, but I guess so has everyone else. We ordered together for mother's day & what would have been 27.00 the last we ate there, was now 41.00 I ordered 2 meals & cheese dip. The menus online anywhere you search are very outdated & obviously the wrong price, but I honestly was shocked at just how much the price increase was. Didn't stop me from ordering again. I ordered a Togo order of cheese dip & a 16oz salsa with no chips for either & it still ended up being 15.00. The food is still good regardless.
My wife and I have been eating here for at least 8 years. Up until a short while ago, the food and service was good. Don’t know what happened, but both have seriously declined. The last 3 visits here have been dismal - wrong order, cold food and the staff are rather apathetic. Time to go elsewhere.
Another first time. Excellent lunch huevos rancheros and cheese and bean burrito. All excellent. Sopapia for dessert was excellent. Service very good. I’m not a big Mexican restaurant diner but this place is a keeper.
Solid Mexican. More true Mexican than alot of the Americanized Mexican places. Always had good food, good value and good service. Got the Ceviche Tacos last time and the Burritos Deluxe. Both were excellent. Have eaten here multiple times. Have never had anything that I did not like
Awesome authentic!!! Best Mexican food in High Point!!! People literally drive past 10 15 Mexican restaurant to come here it's truly authentic! Great staff out of 50 times going here I've had a substantial wait 1 time
3-20-22We've been here a bunch of times over the past several years but never left a review. We had lunch here today and I just thought it was about time.Food and service were great. Beer was cold.(Thanks Carolina)
First experience dine-in I was charged an extra meal, but did not realize until after I left and calculated in my head. Never received an itemized receipt, just a total amount. I also had a to-go beef taco and when I opened at home, there was NO beef...I called and they swore it was in there..it wasn't. Manager told me I could come back and get my entree + taco for free next time and took down my name since they did not know how to reimburse me over the phone. I called for a pickup order 2 weeks later to redeem, they said the manager was too busy to talk to me and no way to redeem what they promised...put me on hold for 20 minutes then I just gave up and hung up. VERY poor customer service. I understand people make mistakes, but after two times of not making it right and ignoring the issue it is very frustrating. Will not be supporting this restaurant.
Very tasty food at amazing prices. We split the San Luis Fondito and it was plenty of food for 2 people. The tortillas are hot and fresh and we don't know what the green sauce is that came with them but it was amazing. Staff were great as well. Service was fast and the food was hot and fresh.
So after trying out the San Luis restaraunt near west gate city blvd. thought I would this one that was in my city. It went great. Was welcomed and seated immediately! Very attentive staff! Overall it went great I went with my go to two chicken burrito, next time I have two get burrito with rice. But overall great!
