I am a HPU student and have been going there for four years now. I have been greeted with a warm welcome every time I went and it always brightened my day. Their rolls and hibachi lunch specials are the perfect portions; and their dinner is to die for. If you are looking for a perfect restaurant for family, friends, whomever, this is the place!
This is laughable. It felt like a joke was being played on us! You need a microscope to see the fish in your 19.00 specialty roll. Might as well just order rice.I understand prices are high but I eat sushi quite often and have never seen something like this. ?.We had dinner there and then came home and ate again because we were hungry.And the food was ok and a 92% health rating.Service was great but that can only go so far. I felt sorry for our waitress.No thanks!
This is my family’s favorite sushi restaurant! They have the best specialty sushi rolls and by far the most unique with their house made sauces. I worked in sushi restaurants for 8 years and now live in California with endless access to variety of sushi restaurants but haven’t found one yet to beat this place. I highly recommend the boger roll, White Castle, and the flaming shrimp roll! Definitely a hidden gem in NC! Tell them Sarah sent ya :)
Today at 7pm my wife and I went into the sake restaurant and were asked to seat ourselves after which we were completely ignored until 3 older white people walked in. They were waited on immediately and after this we dismissed ourselves. This place is blatantly racist and this was the first time I was discriminated against by Asians. I would deter any blacks from patronizing this establishment because we are not valued at all and it will be quite obvious!
Sushi hit the spot! Very delicious got the volcano roll and the warmth and flavor was definitely there. Came here a couple years prior just for hibachi and wasn’t impressed. Service and sushi made up for it though
first time going a couple days ago and the food was fresh and taste authentically delicious. next time I'll get extra white sauce YUM !

For the price, portion size, and the tastelessness. Just over 50.00 with a tip, it wasn't the waitresses fault. I should as add I had about two bits and my husband had one piece of his roll before I remembered to take some pics
I was very optimistic that for the price it would be good. But the hibachi chicken and shrimp was funky. I truly cannot recommend. Most of the reviews were good, so I feel bad because it's probably due to the pandemic, but for the price I can't risk trying it again.
Best sushi and service in the triad. It's always delicious and creative and authentic!
