Ordered for myself, my mom and her husband yesterday for my mom's birthday. I ordered my favorite steak 22 oz porterhouse well done with fries and mashed potatoes and gravy. My steak was perfect-cooked the way I wanted and tasted delicious. And as far as I know my mom and her husband had no complaints about 12 oz ribeye or his porterhouse either. Been to the High Point, NC location for several years and will continue to do so.
How this pub is still open is beyond belief, went to meet up with some friends Yesterday evening and it had runout of BEER . Correct me if I’m wrong but how in this day and age especially on a Friday possibly one of the busiest days of the week can a place that’s supposed to sell beer not have any ?????. If I ran my business like they ran that pub it would not be there for long ,literally couldn’t organise a pxxx up in a brewery someone needs to get things organised just unbelievable.
Ordered take out on 2/16/22 at 6:24pm with a pickup scheduled for 6:50. Among other items, the order included 3 ribeye steaks (2 regular, 1 outlaw). After waiting for the order 40 minutes past the scheduled pickup time, I get home to find this as a “medium” cooked steak. Every bit of the moisture, tenderness, and flavor was cooked out of them. I tried my best to add moisture and flavor with A1. Not to mention half the rest of the food was cold which leads me to believe the order was just sitting in the back, being ignored, like my presence. And today 2/17/22 while eating an unopened/leftover salad for lunch I was greeted by a hair in the salad that was not from me. GROSS!
Arrived at the restaurant last night to see it at about 15-20% capacity but the hostess explained there would be a wait as the kitchen staff were running behind. I just arrived from from a 6+ hour drive from Georgia and we were excited to have dinner. As we waited to be seated, we were rather surprised to hear a server approach the hostess stand and drop the f-bomb. As a business owner myself, that’s always disappointing in the front of a business establishment regardless of what the business is. When taken to our table to be seated, the hostess noticed the table was still dirty and was kind enough to ask us to please wait a moment for her to retrieve the necessary items in order for her to clean the table before we sat down. Our server started off great and made suggestions for our order as I’m vegan but he is not. As we waited for our salads, we heard something break in the kitchen and a male voice yell “God [email protected]€N” followed by lots of playing. The tables around us were dirty and what we gathered were there was possibly a staff shortage and/or no management on duty. A good manager or leader should be able to redirect people who are standing around playing to help clear tables or run food. That’s part of training and then you have to have someone in that position who cares and it was clear that nobody in the restaurant last night cared. We did enjoy our salads but I definitely won’t be returning nor would I recommend this particular location to anyone in the area or visiting. It’s a disgrace to the Longhorn name. Too much talking and playing without any guidance or leadership for 7:30 at night.
First let me start with covid sucks. Due to the lack of people working, everywhere is short staffed. There are lots of places that will turn people away because of staffing issues.Longhorn told us up front we would have a long wait. We waited, after waiting for longer than my belly wanted to. The manager finally found away to seat us and waited on us himself. Chris did a great job even though he had a lot on his plate.I would personally like to thank Chris for the great customer service.
Horrific experience. Would give 0 stars if possible. Waited 20 minutes to get seated which was reasonable. Tons of nasty tables around us that had not been bussed as we sat down, some of which only got cleaned as we were leaving. Waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for food (I wish I was exaggerating).I am sure they have staffing issues but this was beyond anything I could have imagined. Food was fine once it actually arrived, just not worth 2 hours of our lives. They tried to comp us a dessert but we didn't want to be stuck here longer. Never again! This place is off our list permanently.Adding update: I really appreciate the company reaching out and working to try and make sure this hopefully stays an isolated experience.
Looked forward to eating here but the steak I ordered was ice cold and the only thing good about the experience was the waitress. Furthermore, the restrooms need serious attention and need to be sanitized. I think in the future I will just grill my steaks at home.
Trash cans lined up in hallway overflowing. Trash on floor the floor (carpet) was slippery with I don't know what.
Went for supper at 5pm Sat . Sister called ahead at 4:30 to eat at 5:00. Get there and girl at desk said we were not on her list. Funny thing about that we had call info when we called in and also one member of our party arrived at 4:30 and told them our party of 16 was coming and was told by same girl we are setting up tables for us. But after arriving they then said could they split us us, I said enough to en was fine. Few mins after us another client came in and said there party of 16 was there. . When ask if they could split there party and they said no. So we wait. And wait. A while later Nick the manager came up to the wait station and the girl that had taken the reservation told the manager what she had waiting. He replied there is no way any of them are going to set together they will be all over the restaurant. I was waiting close by and spoke us and ask when did this start. Response was sence covid. I said thats not right. He said only tables of 12. I then responded I cant belive you would turn away 2 partys of 16 after taking reservation. He said I DONT CARE IF YOU EAT HERE OR NOT. THIS IS NICK THE MANAGER. Then he dissappear. Leaves both partys waiting. Girl at wait station then said I remember you calling but you didn't leave our name. REALLY. never again. Will never go back nor anyone in our group. I realize sence covid no one needs the business. Good luck Longhorn. Will rejoice they day yall close down. Your manager doesn't need customers to get his check.
