Awesome place! My son tried shrimp for the first time ever here! Our server was so kind to our party! Food was delicious. Will be back! Excited to try the Sunday menu! ??????
This little Gem was a great find! The most flavorful seared whiting and shrimp. The kids loved their shrimp and popcorn chicken baskets. The atmosphere and hospitality was above and beyond! We hope to visit again soon for Sunday brunch.
The 1st time I went to Harbor One, it had been greatly anticipated and the food and service did not disappoint, in the least. Fast forward a couple of years later, I wanted to treat my grandson to a nice, close-by meal, overlooking a beautiful sunset so we chose Harbor One. Unfortunately, it was if we were completely invisible. One other table was occupied and lots of take outs were waiting to be picked up. As I sat there for a very long time, waiting on someone to at least have the common decency to acknowledge our presence, I witnessed many people as they walked in to grab their to-go orders. It takes one time to show me that my money is not good there. They will never get my business again.
I've been meaning to try Harbor One for a minute. I have to say one of the best casual dining experiences I've had in a very long time. The food is excellent. The pricing is phenomenal. The portion sizes are generous. But it was the customer service for me......absolutely EXCEPTIONAL.
Food was good, especially the fish and mac & cheese. Mac & cheese wasn't put on my order 1st time so I had to add it for 4.50 ? I didn't receive my drink and didn't realize until I was almost home. I would've remembered the drink but I was thrown off when my order was ready but there was no mac, so I had to wait again so.... I guess that's why my drink was forgotten.
First timer ordering here. The best shrimp and grits I've had to date. By no means am I a connoisseur of shrimps and grits but I absolutely enjoyed the dish. Oddly all the silverware and dishes are plastic. Would I come again? Definitely.
The food was delicious and the service was great. The fish was fried hard like I prefer. Will definitely recommend and try again.
Harbor One is hands down, the best restaurant I have ever visited. First, the staff are so friendly, and they have created a very nice, friendly atmosphere in the restaurant. The manager and waitress are both warm and friendly people.Second, the restaurant is beautiful. The different textures, hardwood floor, brick walls are beautiful. The restaurant is quite small, but dosent feel small due to its high ceilings and large windows.Third, the place is clean. It’s looks and smells great, and,Four. The food is stupendous, unbelievable delicious. Easy the best restaurant food I have ever had, and I’ve been to Ruth Cris’s Steakhouse, and other highly touted restaurants. Everything was delicious. Fried fish, whiting, was excellent, thin coating and mild flavor. Potato Salad, one of the best, I have ever tasted. Corn bread, the absolute best, bar none.Fifth, unbelievably reasonable prices. The portion sizes are great and the, taste and quality is number one. You could tell the fish was fresh.The menu is quite small, but that’s not a problem. It’s better to do a few things well, then a lot of things so-so.My wife and I have been so disappointed by the so called good restaurants, that we really didn’t go out to eat very often. But that has changed, we will be going to Harbor One at least once a week.Last thought. Fish was never a favorite of mine, but it is now.Try it, and tell the Manager Leroy, that Tall Tom sent you. Try it, you’ll like it, you won’t be sorry.
This was my first time ordering with this business. I decided to do a delivery order through postmates. Don't ever get it delivered. I ordered at 6:48 p.m. it arrived at 8:38. So of course my food was very cold. Although cold I rewarmed it. Everything was good. The fries was hard most likely because of it sitting so long. I'm very disappointed it took so long but at no fault to the establishment.
It’s difficult to find a seafood restaurant that offers delicious food like Bar Harbor. I will be going back on a regular basis. Service was excellent, owners are extremely nice and want to serve excellent food. I give them high reviews. Restaurant is very clean. Go and enjoy a delicious meal.
