The hostess is very rude. We were told to give our phone number and wait outside for her to call us. We saw many couples that showed up after us get phone calls and we continued to wait. We went inside to check she said she needed 3 people we said we are 2. She said have I called you we said no, but before we could say anything else she said go wait outside for me to call you. We waited over an hour for a table and never got a phone call. Many people showed up after us and were seated before us. She would never lee us ask her if perhaps she skipped us by accident. So we left and went elsewhere. Worse service and rudest person ever.
Okay. Place looks like at one time it used to be good. It looks a little on the outdated side. Our hibachi chef was blah/ boring.More than likely we will never return.
The food was good and everyone was very friendly. Everything was cooked in front of you and the cooks were rather entertaining. It’s dark and outdated so a facelift or deep cleaning would be good!
They were sorry staged but still have great service at an acceptable speed. Food was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful.
I have went here probably 3 times prior to my recent visit and as an African American female they were very rude to my party and I . We were not rude and even waited patiently and still got mistreated.
Sad that better care is not taken of the inside. Needs complete remodel. It smells bad (it's not the HVAC unit as it has progressively worsened over the years), the floor is ALWAYS sticky, and it looks/seems as if no one cares about the appearance or smell. It just feels dirty. The food has always been the best, however our family and group of friends who traditionally celebrate birthdays there will have to find another Japanese restaurant. It doesn't matter how good the food is, no one wants to sit and eat in a restaurant that is feels dirty.
Good was great, staff was nice. Atmosphere needs work . This place is very old and need to be upgraded. Overall it was still a nice place to go.
Food was great! Chefs were excellent, entertaining and fun.
The cook was phenomenal and the food was delicious. The shrimp was slightly overcooked but he had nine people at our table so that was completely understandable. We will be back very soon.
