$7.03 for chicken strip tray , fries , onion rings and a cheerwine..fast service food was great ?.
You can’t beat Cook Out! We had a fairly complex order and it was perfect!!! I had a BLT and the bacon was excellent! Crispy, just like I requested! My son likes his burger plain, and it was done right. We all had milkshakes and they speak for themselves - amazing!!! My fave is banana peanut butter!!
Best fast food burger joint in town. I’ve been going here since this location opened back in the 90’s. Food is consistently great. Their employees are always fast and enthusiastic about their job, and our orders have always been accurate. They occasionally have long lines, but the wait is worth it. Personally I recommend their chargrilled chicken sandwich and their Reese’s milkshake, but the burgers are fantastic too.
This has been my favorite Cookout since I was a child and still is. I will drive miles just to eat at this particular Cookout when I have a taste for a good ol Cookout tray. The food is hot and fresh and the milkshakes are delicious.
I visited cookout on north main st. Highpoint .Begining of january at night around 7:00 p:m.My wife & i ordered 2 hamburgers & 2 bags of onion rings. It took over 40 minutes to get my order. I live less than 5 minutes from the restauraunt. Our hamburgers where cold & the onion rings where ok.I called , the line was busy for 2 hours. I was very dissapointed & angry , i paid $14.00 for the order.Tonight i went back , again, i ordered my wife a cheesburger with lettuce ,mayo , pickle & a bag of onion rings.I checked the burger after waiting at the window for over 10 minutes , once again cold hamburger.I blew my horn , there where 5 workers near the window ,laughing, dancing, no hair nets , i asked for a hot hamburger, another 10 minutes , finally a warm hamburger, then cold onion rings. I will never ever go back to cook out on north main street again.
Drive through staff patient as I don't eat there often and it took awhile to review menu board. I will note the drive through speaker has very poor sound quality.Burgers and onion rings cooked to perfection, FF not as light and fresh they could be.Milkshakes high quality.I'll go back but not every week.
I don’t know how lazy you can be but I ordered 5 chicken quesadillas for myself and coworkers and all them looked like this. There barely any sauce and as you can see no chicken. I’ve been to this cookout and handful of times now and they’ve never gotten my order right. Pathetic!
This used to be a good place to eat that I could depend on for great hot food. The last few times have been a disappointment. Chicken strip are nearly all breading and what is there is hard and dry. I ended up throwing most of it out. I don't like being made to feel like I am an inconvenience for wanting napkins and BBQ sauce either.
I've been to Cook Out locations all over NC. This is the worst location I've been to. Echoing what other reviewers have said, the portions are light, they consistently mess up orders (often times forgetting items entirely). Fries are almost always soggy. Don't bother with the quesadillas, they're practically empty in terms of filling. Wait times are a minimum of 15 minutes in most cases. On one of my orders, they forgot the quesadilla, missed all burger toppings, and forgot a straw/napkins. I reached out to corporate online, only to receive zero actual info, and was told to call instead. Their "quality guarantee" seems to be a lie. I typically don't take time to make these reviews, but this location is truly that bad. Oh, and if the location manager/corporate sees this review, how about you actually do something instead of copy/pasting a generic response.*Edit 1/31: Changed from two stars to one star because management did the exact thing I asked them not to do (copy/paste generic response).
Love cookout!!!! I guess inflation has hit the fastfood industry. A cookout tray use to be 5.79 now it's 7.90
