Husband and I each had a steak dinner here recently on a Friday night and it was delicious! We left happy and arguing over which one of us had the better steak, the tenderloin filet or the delmonico. The service was very good as well, all making for a nice evening. We are hoping our good experience means Austin’s is getting their groove back after going through a lengthy rough patch. We will definitely be returning again soon.
We went here for mother's day and let me start off by saying the waitress was amazing but when we sent the food back for being cooked improperly (by a different waiter) we could hear the manager in the back stating we were wrong about the cook on our food and that we were pretty much wrong about how we wanted our food cooked. I don't appreciate being talked about like that by a manager where me and anyone else around can hear, especially when I had no problem paying for my expensive food. I warn anyone going here not to. That will be the last time I refer anyone there or go there.

I would give zero if it was an option. My chicken on the tacos was not hot it felt room temperature and we waited forever! My daughters plate was so skimpy she ate my fries. This is the photo before even touching her plate.
Wife and I went here to try it out, looking for a place to have my birthday dinner next week.After waiting 30 minutes in a not so crowded restaurant, wife and I ordered: 1 hot crab dip, (came out barely warm with cold greasy chips, 1 Ribeye steak, cooked medium, with loaded baked potato and a salad. Wife ordered Soup and Salad. Salads came out first and were ok good. Croissants were cold, dry. After more than an hour, I was able to flag down the waitress, and asked where our dinner was, as it had been more than one hour. She said she would check on it and left. I expected her to come right back with at least some news about my steak...she didn't come back, but instead checked on 3 other tables. She knew I was a little upset. At one hour ten minutes she informed me that the steak was almost ready. One hour fifteen minutes, got a COLD STEAK and Cold Potato. Had to flag down waitress again. She took the steak away and brought it back about 5 minutes later. This time steak was warm, char burnt on under side and potato still cold. Wife's soup came out like molten lava.At this point I asked to see the Manager. Manager never came out. Waitress said no charge for steak and potato, and took them away, but she tried to charge $6.95 for a salad because I ate it. I explained that I wouldn't have eaten the salad if I knew the steak wasn't going to be any good. She tried hard, but finally took an additional $5.00 off the bill.Looking for a place to have Birthday Dinner.
Just ok food, nothing special. Service left some to be desired. Should of expected considering at 630 pm on a Friday there was no wait and the place was almost empty. Still took over 40 minutes to get food.
We found this place right after we moved here last March,and we've been back many times. Always good food wonderful employees.

Excellent food with good atmosphere - No longer on N.Main St- Near HPU in the old Liberty Steak House building -- Steak medallions are out of this world -- steaks are always the perfect temperature -- sidea are home made love the mash and cole slaw fresh cinnamon stewd apples -- dine in take out and kids menu
One of the best restaurants in High Point. Great food and excellent service. We had a party of 10 and everyone loved their food. I had salmon, salad & sweet potato and it was excellent! We will be back!
